My initial score was a 155 and I improved that to a 161 on the January LSAT. I did 5 sessions of tutoring with Sael from early December to January and I truly believe that it made a massive difference in my studying approach and performance. Sael did an excellent job improving my performance on LR, and helped me nearly perfect LG. He was extremely professional and I truly enjoyed working with him. Additionally, I loved how the LSAT Nerds had a flexible schedule and excellent pricing. The few sessions made a major difference and I would recommend Sael/the LSAT Nerds to anyone.

I am beyond grateful to have had Mattea as my LSAT tutor. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in teaching the LSAT material, but she also has a unique ability to make the learning experience enjoyable and stress-free. Mattea truly cares about each and every one of her students and went above and beyond to make sure I was successful. She took the time to understand my strengths and weaknesses and tailored my study plan accordingly. With Mattea's guidance, I was able to achieve a score that exceeded my expectations and got into my dream law school. I cannot thank Mattea enough. She is not only an exceptional tutor, but also a kind and supportive mentor. I highly recommend Mattea to anyone seeking LSAT tutoring.

-G.G., Spring 2023

I started tutoring with LSAT Nerds in September, about 2 months before my LSAT. At this point, I had been self-studying for the LSAT on and off for about two and a half years and had taken the exam in August of the previous year with a score of 165. It was really important for me to get a high enough score to get a scholarship for law school so that I could afford the education. No matter how much self-studying I did, however, I was not able to break into the 170s. And no matter how many 7Sage videos I watched or research I did, I could not figure out why the questions I got incorrect were incorrect. So I finally decided to give LSAT Nerds a try. After a few sessions, I realized the teaching style of the tutor I started with was just not clicking with my learning style. So I called Wade and explained the concern. He was so understanding and recommended I switch to Sael based on my problem areas, and it was the best decision.

Sael did an absolutely amazing job helping me understand why I was getting questions wrong and identifying problematic trends in my thinking. The hardest sections for me had always been LR and RC, and the tutoring sessions helped me build a more systematic way of approaching these. My RC score started to become more consistent and I started to learn to better anticipate the types of answers of different questions. As for LR, I was able to tighten up my techniques and figure out exactly what types of questions were confusing me. My LR score stopped ranging from -1 to -8 and I started more consistently PT'ing at -1 to -3. Most importantly, Sael helped me start seeing the LSAT questions through the LSAT's eyes and that, sometimes my thinking may be perfectly reasonable, but it just wasn't the way the test-makers think. There may be two perfectly reasonable ways to see and approach a problem but, within the parameters of the LSAT world, there is only one that makes sense. And this nuance to my studying, seeing it through the eyes of what the test-makers are trying to get at, that made the biggest difference. RC questions stopped being a shot in the dark. I started to actually understand why I was getting questions wrong (and this was a really big deal!). I learned to stop overthinking and start trusting the skills I already built.

The tutoring sessions also helped me better manage my anxiety by putting some perspective to the problems and concerns I had. Sael was also logistically a pleasure to work with. Working full-time meant that I often had to reschedule sessions on short notice. Not only was Sael very accommodating, but I was also able to text him throughout the week whenever I ran across a question I was particularly stuck on. In the lead up to my exam in November, I started regularly scoring in the mid-170s and stopped struggling so much with timing. I ended up with a 171 and will definitely be reaching back out to Sael for advice on my law school applications and essays before submitting!

N.K., Spring 2023

I truly cannot thank Sabina enough for her tireless help throughout my LSAT journey. Before I began our tutoring sessions, I was totally lost on how to improve my LSAT strategy, particularly with Logic Games, and I was extremely daunted by the prospect of taking the LSAT. Fortunately, Sabina introduced me to new ways to tackle the LSAT and her support completely changed my attitude and approach towards it. Throughout our sessions, Sabina consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I fully grasped each concept, and she always made herself available after our sessions for follow-up questions. Her positive attitude, endless patience, and engaging teaching style helped me tremendously, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their LSAT score.

-A.R., Spring 2022

I started studying for the LSAT on my own, tried prep courses, and had other tutors before contacting Lsat Nerds. I had only a few weeks left till my last try for the LSAT, and I was paired with Jenna. We focused on reading comprehension and logical reasoning. Since I met her at the very end of my LSAT prep journey, there wasn't a drastic increase compared to my most recent score but there was still an improvement. Jenna was so nice and patient. English is not my first language, and she made me feel super comfortable sharing my thoughts and interpretations. She explained things in a very clear and thought-provoking way that guided me to think. I really wish I had met her earlier!

-J.H., Spring 2022

After receiving a disappointing score on my first LSAT I was left disheartened and upset. Thankfully, I came across LSAT Nerds and was privileged to meet and work with one of the best tutors. Rebecca Lane was motivating, compassionate, and overall, a great tutor and person. She helped me every step of the way, pushing me to achieve my highest score on the LSAT. She was a wonderful person to converse with as well, always lightening the mood when things got tough and dark. If there's one 'nerd' you want to work with, it's Rebecca Lane!

-A.R., Spring 2022

Before working with Sukhmani, I had taken about 30 preptests and felt like I had plateaued in the 160s. I got a 164 on my first LSAT and felt defeated. I struggled with test anxiety, but Sukhmani helped make the test muscle memory, so I could let my instincts kick in when nerves got in the way. She always said “if you can’t see the mountain, just take the next step.” She changed my whole approach to LR and RC and changed my mindset around the LSAT in general. Sukhmani got to know my thought process around each type of question and catered to my way of thinking. She was patient, always positive, and prioritized my mental health while we worked hard to target and strengthen my weak spots. This April, I scored a 170 and am so thankful for Sukhmani!

-C.M., Spring 2022

Having taken the LSAT multiple times already and the January LSAT as my last chance with one month of studying left, I knew I could not risk self-studying the wrong way and getting a score that I would not be happy with. LSAT Nerds paired me up with Sael Soni, and he has been an immense help. My score rose by 4 points in one month, and I scored in the high 160s. Sael provided the direction and guidance I needed. The thing I love about LSAT Nerds is that they are extremely kind and helpful and even provide a scholarship for those who need it. My experience with Sael and the LSAT Nerds has been great and I am thankful for their help.

-J.P., Spring 2022

Sabina Idriz was an excellent LSAT tutor and helped me to reach my goal score, in addition to being knowledgeable, Sabina was kind and adjusted to the pace and instruction required to best suit my needs. I would highly recommend her services.

-A.H., Spring 2022

I took the LSAT for the third time in January and my score increased by seven points. I worked with Hudson for a few months leading up to the test and felt he really helped me improve not only my score but also my stamina. He gave me good practical advice and was also very encouraging to help ease my test stress. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an LSAT tutor!

-T.R., Spring 2022

I just recently took my LSAT for the 2nd time in January and my score had jumped up 9 points already since working with Hudson. I plan on taking it again in March because I truly believe another month of working with Hudson will lead to another big increase in my score. I have really enjoyed the energy he brings to our tutor sessions, he does an excellent job of giving positive reinforcement as well as making sure I understand the material before moving on. I really enjoy working with Hudson and have even recommended him to a friend of mine who is also getting ready for the LSAT.

-M.F., Spring 2022

Hello, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with Sukhmani Kaur with you. We had started doing tutoring sessions in February and worked through May and it was a great time. Through tutoring, I raised my LSAT score 9 points which was exactly what I was looking for. She consistently showed patience with me and made sure that I truly understood the concepts needed for the test. She was always upbeat yet focused to make sure we never got off track. I thought her skill set and temperament were well matched for me to achieve my goals. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to advance in their LSAT prep.

-N.F., Spring 2022

When I came to the LSAT Nerds, I had already tried a private tutor and self study. Neither method produced any positive result on the 2 LSAT’s I’d already taken. With only one attempt left, I began working with Sukhmani who made all the difference. She equipped me with a new approach that led to dramatic improvements. In fact, I was able to improve my score 7 points in just 6 weeks. If only I had met her sooner!

Sukhmani continued to assist me throughout the admissions process. I didn’t know where to begin, but her clear step-by-step guidance made each task more bearable. Her suggestions and advice for my personal statement, resume, and everything in between transformed my application from decent to impressive, and I cannot imagine going through this process or getting where I am now without her.

Not only is Sukhmani an amazing tutor but also someone who truly cares about her students and does everything to help them succeed. Her warm personality, encouragement, and guidance boosted my confidence, and I am truly thankful for all of her help in pushing me to reach my full potential.

-C.K., Spring 2022

The best decision I made during LSAT prep was working with Amanda. Some of her strategies are so unique that you will not find them in any prep book or online! She truly changed my approach in Reading Comprehension and the section became so much easier and incredibly consistent for me.

Amanda is meticulous and detail oriented and will analyze each of your practice tests to look for patterns. She picked up on patterns in the mistakes I made and carefully crafted lesson plans tailored to my weaknesses. I worked with Amanda for just over a month, but I had been studying for the LSAT for five months prior to that. With Amanda's guidance and personalized homework sets and lesson plans, I saw tremendous progress. She customized each week's homework and gave me concrete strategies to implement each week. Also, she is extremely kind and will ease your anxiety about the test and provide great techniques for avoiding test day anxiety. I could not recommend Amanda more for your LSAT prep!

-A.V., Spring 2022

It has been a huge honor to work with Jenna. Before working with her, I had studied for months on my own and thought I had reached my LSAT ceiling and was ready to give up. Jenna gave me the confidence and encouragement I needed to keep studying, as well as a sense of structure. She is kind and patient, and incredibly knowledgeable on all things LSAT. She helped me narrow down the issues I was having with the LSAT, and worked with me step by step to understand the fundamentals of each question. Her pattern recognition method in LR was the key to gaining confidence in the section, and her tips and instruction in LG and RC helped me gain the extra points I needed. I had a very emotional response to the LSAT and testing anxiety before working with her, but Jenna helped me see the LSAT as something to not be feared and how to feel sure of myself during the exam. She also helped me with my law school materials, and offered her guidance throughout the application process. As a first generation student, the process of applying seemed daunting and intimidating. Having Jenna on my team made all of the difference, and I owe it all to her patience, kindness, and knowledge. Thank you so much!

-L.V., Spring 2022

I would like to take a moment to describe my work with Jacob. Jacob was an incredibly helpful tutor who met punctually and taught the material in a professional yet relatable manner. He knows how to analyze the student's work to see what areas need more work as well as finding new strategies to improve the overall LSAT score. Jacob also worked with me to set up a work schedule for me to best prepare for the test without getting overwhelmed. My score went up significantly after my work with Jacob and I am very grateful for his help. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone hoping to understand the LSAT better.

-L.G., Spring 2022

Working with Amanda has truly been an amazing experience! As a tutor she is flexible with scheduling, insightfully targets student troubles, and is holistic in her approach to tackling the LSAT. I came into tutoring extremely frustrated and disappointed with previous LSAT scores in the low 150's that were not indicative of my actual ability or understanding of the exam material. Amanda was quick to distinguish gaps in my knowledge and test performance anxiety. In sessions, Amanda taught me to refine my techniques and apply them in a consistent manner. For practice tests, Amanda had me meticulously track habits and my mindset before and during the test. Amanda helped me quickly realize that the LSAT is as much of a mental test as it is a test of knowledge. Keeping track of my mindset allowed me to make big strides in self-confidence and learning. Amanda's detailed approach of tracking test material I struggled with resulted in a 16 point jump on the LSAT for me. Because of Amanda, the law schools I could apply to changed from schools outside the top 50 to the T14 schools. I'm so grateful for being able to work with Amanda, and any other student would be lucky to work with her as well!

-E.S., Spring 2022

Sabina is an eloquent, well-versed, and overall great tutor, especially for the LSAT. She is particularly strong in teaching and advising methods for logic games- increasing my initial score in LG of 8/23 to an average of 21/23!! She understands the test, which is clearly important but also has a keen understanding of how to explain the test to others. Sabina is patient, continued to enthusiastically work with me through difficult questions step-by-step when my brain seemed to be committed to choosing the wrong answer. 10/10 recommend!!

-E.B., Spring 2022

I am writing to leave a review after working with Jacob for about 3 months. I only have great things to say about our time together! He was extremely professional while also making the material as entertaining and engaging as LSAT material can be. He was always on time and always ready to work with me on my weak areas. I highly recommend working with Jacob!

-E.C., Spring 2022

This service was recommended to me through a friend of mine who had said that it significantly raised her score when she was unable to break into new territory in her scores. She was absolutely spot-on and the same was true for my experience. First, Mattea was extremely professional and timely with her responses and communication which was a huge help to me and I am sure to many as our schedules become increasingly busy with the addition of LSAT preparation. Her focused attitude kept me on track and the mentality of staying focused while not becoming too burnt-out or exhausted by the physical and emotional demands was something that I did not expect to be as big of a factor as it was. When I started with Mattea I was scoring in the low 150s and eventually scored a 162 after two months of working with her. While the challenge originally seems quite daunting and stressful, the ball continues to roll quicker as things begin to click (especially on the AR section of the test where I saw the most improvement). I would recommend Mattea and the service for anybody that is willing to undertake this important exam. It will pay off!

-D.M., Fall 2022

I went into this most recent test with a very specific purpose - to work on RC and get my score up from where it was, at a 167, to a 170. From start to finish, LSAT nerds was there for me and provided an incredible service. When I called for a free consultation, not only did I get to talk to a real person who recommended a tutor based on my availability and needs, but who also jump-started the process by making me feel comfortable and providing helpful advice. I worked with Sael Soni and couldn’t have asked for a better tutor. Not only did he work with my crazy schedule, but he completely changed how I approached RC, which turned the section from one of my weakest into one of my strongest. He also helped me tighten the screws on other sections as well and was incredibly patient and engaging. He even helped by taking the time during our last session before I took the test to calm me down & help discuss strategies to approach the test with a clear head, which made a HUGE difference on test day. With his help, I went from a 167 into the mid-170s and I’m so grateful to him. I loved how personalized & flexible LSAT nerds was and I will be recommending it to everyone in need of a tutor!

-B.I., Fall 2022

I had tried just about everything to get my score where I wanted it to be. Self-study, the “bibles,” full-prep courses AND a tutor. It wasn’t until I got with Jacob from LSAT nerds that things started to make sense. No trademarked systems, no stock answers. Jacob tried to figure out what made sense to me so I could get the score I wanted. He was charasmatic and I could tell he spent time thinking about the stuff I was working on. I highly recommend Jacob and the LSAT nerds to get you to your goal score.

-C.O., Fall 2022

The LSAT is a beast of a test, both physically and mentally. I, in particular, struggled with the mental aspect of the test. Through my work with Shayna, I created a regimented routine that honed in on areas where I needed additional practice and overcame the anxiety and nerves surrounding the test. I felt that the work we were doing together was really specialized for my needs and thus I was able to get the most out of this experience. She took the time to get to know me as a person and see how best I learned. All that work came proved worth it as I got my dream score. I couldn’t recommend her more.

-A.W., Fall 2022

My LSAT journey started with books and Khan Academy, but these resources were only useful for explaining the basics and I was stuck at 163. When I got practice questions wrong, it was hard for me to pinpoint where I was confused, let alone develop an intervention. I'd seen LSAT Nerds videos on TikTok and decided to give it a shot and this was the singular best decision I made for my LSAT study. My tutor, Jacob, is absolutely amazing, he understands the LSAT through and through and is also a gifted teacher, able to translate complicated concepts into simple explanations. I found myself looking forward to tutoring sessions and to working through practice questions with him - he made LSAT study fun. His patience and support were endless; no matter how frustrated I got with the LSAT, he always said the right things to encourage me and renew my self-confidence. Over about four months of tutoring, I went from having a general sense of the exam, to fully confident that I understand the exam and how to approach it. By the end, I was practice testing in the 170s and it was all thanks to Jacob's endless support and teaching. I truly feel so lucky to have had such a brilliant tutor, thank you!

-S.R., Fall 2022

Meeting with Shayna was an interesting situation as I started off one week prior to writing my test. I was prepared, but not to the degree I should have been or wanted to be in. Shayna did an impeccable job of understanding my needs, skills and learning style and helped me overcome the plateau that I hit. She helped shift my perspective on things to not only attack questions a different way, but attack my studying a different way, placing an emphasis on certain other things that I was not doing previously. This combined with her making a personalized study plan with me helped me in so many ways. Shayna truly is the most patient and caring person I have met, which showed when she would go in more depth for the study plan on request (and quickly) to adhere to my needs, to provide a step by step plan of what I should do, when I should do it, in order of importance, etc, etc. Moreover, no matter how many times I made the same mistake she would stay extremely positive and encouraging which is really helpful when you’re a few days away from test day and need to control your emotions. Lastly, she would stay on our call past the end for each session just to talk out what we spoke about and help me figure out my thoughts and what my day would consist of coming up. I honestly cannot say enough good words about Shayna, as she truly is invested in her students success. I was reaching the low 160’s but consistently still hitting the high 150’s, but within the week of studying with her I was able to score a 167! Thank you so much once again Shayna.

-J.G., Summer 2022

It was an absolute pleasure to learn from Amanda. I started working with her after self-studying for many months, and seeing my scoring plateau in the high 160s. During my subsequent sessions with Amanda, she helped me identify and fix gaps in my understanding of the LSAT that I didn't even know I had. She also provided me with just the right structure and tools I needed to break through my plateau. As a result, I went from being frustrated about the test to hopeful and even confident to take it again. I ended up scoring a 179 on my next sitting a month later, and a huge portion of the credit for that improvement goes to Amanda!

-G.H., Spring 2022

I cannot overstate what a joy it was to work with Mattea in prepping for the LSAT. I had been sparring with the LSAT for over a year and my highest score of 166 was below my practice tests, which were in the low 170s. I had previously worked with a tutor from a well-known test prep company and utilized many self-study books. Prior to working with Mattea, I was feeling so discouraged about this test, and immediately Mattea changed the game. She went above and beyond in making herself available for tutoring sessions and coming prepared with personalized questions to go over based on my strengths and weaknesses. She was able to parse out where I was going wrong and getting overwhelmed in order to provide me with strategies that really helped me tackle the test as a whole. Beyond that, she was positive, kind, and genuinely invested in my success. I landed a 177 on the test, and feel confident I couldn't have done this without Mattea and the LSAT Nerds. If you're looking to level up on the LSAT, look no further!

-J.G., Fall 2021

I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to work with the LSAT Nerds and Sabina Idriz! She made all the difference in my LSAT journey and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Sabina created a great learning environment during our sessions; she was so invested in my success and never failed to take the time to go over something (even in 100 different ways if she had to) until I fully understood it. I’m most grateful that she helped me to actually learn the intricacies of each section of the test itself— I saw a huge jump in my scores and they finally became consistent. My worst score in LG became a -1 and I would only miss 2 or 3 in LR and RC, which would have been impossible if I hadn’t had a tutor that tailored each session specifically to what I needed.

Sabina was always so positive during our sessions and made sure to let me know that she had confidence in me, which was much needed during those tough hours of studying! She always gave me the option to reach her in-between sessions with any questions I might have, or even if I just needed an extra push or some encouragement. I highly HIGHLY recommend going with the LSAT Nerds— the free workshops and proctored exams they offer were such an added bonus to my LSAT prep. And, of course, I highly recommend Sabina Idriz as your LSAT tutor!

-S.C., Summer 2021

Albert is a great tutor! In our sessions he was very laid back but also kept our time focused and productive. For context, I went to LSAT Nerds before taking my 3rd LSAT. I had scored a 167 previously and applied to many programs, getting waitlisted at over half of the top 20 schools in the US. A school I got waitlisted at offered to pay for me to retake the LSAT to see if I could snag a few more points. With that being said I only had about a month and a half to do some more practice tests and try to find where I could get those points.

Albert did a great job at identifying which section to focus on to get the highest return and drills I could do to get those last additional points. We only met a few times because of the time constraints of the prep time leading up to the test but I believe the money and time I invested with LSAT tutors was well worth it. I ended up scoring a 173 and feel confident for when I reapply next year and that I will be able to get more admission offers and also more substantial scholarships.

I highly recommend anyone to schedule their sessions with Albert due to his amazing LSAT score, familiarity with the test, and ease to work with. I felt his approach and feedback were very up front and honest, which I personally appreciated. Thanks again Albert!

-T.H., Summer 2021

I started working with Amanda in August of 2020 and at that point I had already taken the LSAT twice, both times receiving below what I had hoped. However, when I began working with Amanda, the score I wanted to reach seemed a lot more attainable than I had previously believed. With Amanda I constantly felt encouraged to do my best and she was always there for me if I was struggling. She continuously made sure I understood what she was saying during our tutoring sessions, and if I didn’t, she found other ways to explain the questions. She made the test so much more understandable and helped me find ways to study that worked best for me. For the first time I felt like I was really understanding the questions from all the sections on the LSAT. Because of her help and easily understandable explanations, I ended up increasing my score 11 points on the June 2021 LSAT from the first time I had taken the test. I don’t know what I would have done without her!

Amanda was incredibly supportive, always positive and believed in me and my abilities. I felt so much more confident in myself after studying with Amanda and I am so grateful to have had the chance to receive her help when studying for the LSAT. I absolutely recommend studying with Amanda!

-P.M., Summer 2021

Sebastian Miller was an amazing tutor throughout the four months I worked with him. Before I started my lessons at the LSAT Nerds, I envisioned a tutoring session to consist mostly of going through problems and deciphering the logic behind them. But Sebastian did so much more. His experience as a debate coach made him an excellent teacher in formal logic. Retrospectively, this was integral to approaching the LR questions. Sebastian was intelligent, extremely personable and passionate about teaching. He was also kind enough to have offered some guidance on the law school application process. I genuinely think that he has the ability to get students more excited about law school!

In the end, I was able to achieve 169 on the LSAT despite poor testing conditions. I am super happy with the result. I would recommend Sebastian Miller as a tutor to anyone seeking LSAT help. He is truly the best!

-Y.B., Summer 2021

Shayna was a terrific tutor who was incredibly invested in my success!! In only the one month that I’ve worked with her, my score jumped 13 points! I’ve studied for the LSAT on-and-off for a couple years. I’ve taken courses and worked with various tutors from other companies, but none of them were able to help my score increase. Shayna was by far the best tutor I’ve had – her vast knowledge on tackling the LSAT efficiently is incredible. Most importantly, I found it immensely helpful that Shayna created a personalized study plan for me. She knew exactly how to address my weaknesses (especially in logical reasoning) and was extremely patient with me when I did not understand a question. Shayna constantly made herself available to answer any questions I had through email. Not only did she answer my conceptual questions over email, but she also provided various examples to show me how it applies to the LSAT. Shayna went above-and-beyond in helping me achieve a great score on the LSAT!

In addition, Shayna is extremely knowledgeable about the law school application process. In our spare tutoring time, she provided incredible insight and examples on formulating a strong application. I cannot thank Shayna and LSAT Nerds enough for my success on the LSAT!

-S.P., Summer 2021

Jacob was a tremendous support to me and I truly could not have gotten my current score without his tutoring. I started with him averaging mid 160s with 164 as my previous score, and he helped me bring my score up to 170! I’m beyond thrilled and wanted to share that he’s an asset to this program and an incredibly smart and kind person. I’d highly recommend him to prospective clients; he’s able to communicate clearly and effectively and adapt to any learning style or target area. Studying for the LSAT can be tedious, but I genuinely enjoyed going to my tutoring sessions with Jacob. If you’re considering a tutor, I can’t recommend him enough.

-E.B., Summer 2021

My experience with The LSAT Nerds was so much greater than I could have ever imagined! I started tutoring with a goal to become more proficient in Logic Games in mind - Bryan helped me to not only improve my Logic Games skills, but actually helped me to make this my very best section. I went from missing around 8-10 questions per Logic Games Section to missing 0-2 per section every single time! Along with working on Logic Games, we had plenty of time to cover all of the sections in the 5 weeks that I spent tutoring before my LSAT. I really wish I had made the choice to work with The LSAT Nerds sooner because it was so helpful to have someone to explain the concepts to you, encourage you, and provide you with materials that you couldn’t have gained otherwise! Thank you Bryan, and The LSAT Nerds for helping me become confident and proficient in my LSAT skills in such a short period of time!

-C.H., Summer 2021

Bo is the best tutor! She helped me refine and perfect my LSAT strategies and I was able to bump up my score by 8 points. Our sessions were very focused on improving the areas I was struggling with. By the end of our sessions logic games became second nature to me and I was really able to improve in reading and arguments. I studied for the LSAT before but Bo really helped develop a study plan that was personalized for me. She is a wonderful tutor and I highly recommend her for anyone studying for the LSAT.

-E.K., Summer 2021

My tutor was Tanvi Antoo. I highly highly recommend her! Not only did she help my score to increase by over 7 points but she encouraged me every step of the way. Studying for the Lsat is very daunting and stressful, and she not only helped to prepare me for the test with amazing study techniques, but she also helped me to implement mental techniques as well in order to have the confidence that I needed to get the score I wanted. I truly could not have asked for a better tutor and now a new friend. Even when we did not have a scheduled session, Tanvi checked in to see how my study sections were going. She was always there to support me, whether I had a good or bad practice test. I really think that the tutoring experience I had here was amazing not just because they show you definite ways to increase your score, but also because you can see that your tutor truly cares about your score and helping you to get the best score you deserve. Tanvi was the absolute BEST!!!

-C.P., Summer 2021

I had self-studied for the LSAT from 09/2020-01/2021 during that time I had completed two LSAT exams and was not proud of either score. I was homeschooled up until college and my lack of standardized testing just made my issue worse. I was frustrated and confused as to why I was studying and working my brain from early morning to late evening every single day and there was no improvement. I had used a couple of LSAT prep courses but never thought about hiring a tutor. After researching for days I finally came across The LSAT Nerds! I am so lucky to have been paired with Christopher Gibson because he was able to help me improve drastically! I am a visual learner and It's difficult to find teachers that are able to understand how my brain works and figure out the best way to approach problems. Chris not only helped me maintain my confidence throughout the entire 3 months of being taught by him but he also helped explain and teach me how to approach the questions that I was struggling with. Chris is very intelligent, resourceful, and kind to have as a tutor. I was able to get my score up by 7 points and this opened many doors for me! I was absolutely terrified that I would not be attending a law school but because of the help I received one of my top law school choices is going to pay for 60% of my tuition and I received the dean's scholarship. I am beyond grateful for the help I received and I will definitely be referring my friends who are interested in law school to use The LSAT Nerds!

-M.K., Summer 2021

I was doing well preparing for the LSAT but had hit a roadblock. After taking several practice tests without improvement I was ready to give up and settle for the score I had. However, after working with Amber my score rapidly improved and I ended up getting a 175 on the August LSAT. She helped me work on my weaknesses and focused on the specific things that I needed help on. She taught me to rethink the logical games section and as a result my score drastically improved. I not only got better at doing the actual problems but felt more confident. I stopped constantly stressing about my score and realized that I was going to be fine. I really recommend prepping with Amber, she is a great tutor and can help you learn skills that will save you time and improve your score. She’s very friendly and made me comfortable which also helped me learn better. She is the best tutor I have had and did a spectacular job.

-K.K., Fall 2021

I was hesitant at first to seek outside help with my LSAT studying, however choosing to work with Rebecca was the best choice I have ever made. She was friendly and made sure to keep the sessions lighthearted, throwing in jokes amid the difficult problems we were tackling each session. Rebecca made sure to analyze what areas needed more attention, tailoring each session to my personal needs. Each session I saw improvement within myself and Rebecca always acknowledged my progress. I gained confidence throughout the process and Rebecca continuously pushed me to work harder to reach my full potential. Studying for the LSAT can be discouraging, however Rebecca always reminded me that I am fully capable of scoring well and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. When I came to work with Rebecca I had a 152 and within 2.5 weeks (10 sessions) my score increased to a 161. I could not have made such large improvements without Rebecca and I cannot thank her enough!

-B.F., Fall 2021

I feel incredibly grateful for the chance to have worked with Jenna this year. She was my tutor, coach, and mentor for 5 months during my LSAT journey. I started with a 150 on a timed diagnostic in March, and she helped me get to a 165 by the summer. I was eventually able to score a 172 on the October exam, and I couldn’t have done it without Jenna’s strategies and advice. I really struggled with timing, especially on logic games, and she helped me practice and focus on the relevant things when tackling questions. In addition to this, she’s very flexible and supportive and would check on me even after I no longer took classes with her. She even offered insights into the application process and was willing to give me advice on my essays. I am very satisfied with LSAT Nerds, and I would recommend them (and Jenna in particular) to anyone who is looking for some one-on-one help but also want flexibility with the tutoring packages and pricing. Thank you again for the great experience!

-E.T., Fall 2021

I chose to work with the LSAT Nerds after extensive research about my possible options. I ended up working with Josh and can’t say enough about my experience. I came in with a 154 diagnostic and consistently missing 10 or more Logic Game questions, but after just a couple months with Josh, I was able to cut my LG score down to -1 or -2. I started in August with Josh, took the October LSAT, and scored a 174! After receiving my score, Josh also answered any questions I had about the application process and even offered to review some of my essays. If you are looking for a study schedule, need help on a specific section, or just need some extra guidance, I highly recommend the LSAT Nerds!

-D.A., Fall 2021

I am incredibly happy with my decision to work with Amanda during my LSAT journey. At first, I was hesitant to work with a tutor as I was already PTing in the high 160’s, but I eventually decided to take the plunge as my October score (168) was a bit shy of my goal. With the 3-4 lessons I had with Amanda in that one month, I made immense progress that allowed me to get past my high 160’s plateau and start PTing in the mid to high 170’s. Amanda taught me an extremely effective approach to LG that I had not seen in any other books/courses which allowed me to consistently score -0/-1 on that section. She also taught me a great RC strategy and identified/covered lapses of understanding I had in LR. I ended up scoring a 172 on the November exam which I am very happy with. I would recommend working with Amanda to anyone that is looking to make some serious score improvements. Thanks!

-M.D., Fall 2021

I just wanted to email to tell you about the wonderful experience I had working with Sabina as my tutor. I came into tutoring with an initial score of 146 on my practice Lsat and in just a few months she helped me score a 161 on my real Lsat this summer! She was very easy to work with and incredibly knowledgeable. I super appreciated the way she made me feel comfortable with asking any questions (no matter how silly they were). This greatly helped me to learn and made the whole experience so much better. I can’t thank her enough for all she did and all the time she put into helping me surpass my goals. I would highly highly recommend her to anyone else starting their Lsat journey. Thank you both again for this experience!

-T.A., Fall 2021

I am so happy to have been able to work with Sael throughout my LSAT journey. Throughout our time together, he introduced me to study techniques, practices, and approaches that greatly influenced how I looked at and prepared for the LSAT. Sael introduced me to new ways of planning, reading, and taking the test that transformed my LSAT experience for the better. By the end of our time together, my LSAT score had increased by 17 points. Sael not only helped me prepare for the LSAT, but was also always available for any questions I had regarding law school in general. Sael is a great tutor that I would recommend to anyone interested in increasing their LSAT score or looking for law school advice. I am very happy to have worked with the LSAT Nerds and will be sure to recommend their services to anyone and everyone interested in taking the LSAT.

-J.H., Fall 2021

I chose the LSAT Nerds after checking out some other tutoring services and finding out that they actually pay their tutors well. Mackenzie was an incredible tutor, always kind and responsive, and helped me increase my score by 10 points. I have nothing but praise for her. She helped create a study plan, went above and beyond to help me outside of the tutoring sessions, and most importantly made me more confident in myself. I can’t thank her enough for her incredible help! I recommend the LSAT Nerds, and especially Mackenzie, to absolutely anyone who is looking for a tutor that really, truly cares about you and your score.

-K.G., Fall 2021

I had a great experience working with Hudson as part of my LSAT preparation. He was able to tailor tutoring to my needs and strengths/weaknesses, and he helped me improve exponentially on the section I was struggling with the most (Logical Reasoning from consistently missing 10+ questions to only missing 1 or 2). Overall, Hudson made the process of studying for the LSAT effective and, dare I say, fun.

-A.W., Fall 2021

Jenna and the LSAT Nerds helped so much throughout my LSAT journey. Jenna and I met once a week for almost 3 months while I was studying for the LSAT. Before joining the LSAT Nerds I had gotten a 146 on the LSAT. I did not have a lot of motivation to study and was struggling to understand a lot of the material addressed within the LSAT. I always struggled with the logical reasoning sections and could not understand why I could not grasp the concept. During our sessions, Jenna was able to breakdown the different question stems, and I was able to understand how to tackle each question. I went from only getting about 6 questions correct in the section to getting between 18-22 questions correct! She even helped to decrease my time in the logic games section! With Jenna’s help and tips, I was able to boost my score to a 158. She was always in my corner and has continued to show support even after our tutoring sessions. It has been so nice to know that I have Jenna and the LSAT Nerds to help me with my law school journey.

-K.D., Fall 2021

When I came to the LSAT Nerds, I was feeling very discouraged after taking the August LSAT. I had studied for months and was incredibly disappointed when I received my score. Working with Sabina completely changed things for me. She was very encouraging and helped me to gain a far better understanding of the LSAT. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about not only the LSAT, but the entire admissions process. Going into the November exam I felt more confident than ever, but was still apprehensive given my previous performance. Although I was unsure, Sabina was very confident that I would do much better than I expected. When I got my score back I was ecstatic to have raised it ten points, something I never thought I would be able to do. I absolutely could not have accomplished this without Sabina, and I highly recommend her as an outstanding LSAT tutor!

-M.W., Fall 2021

I cannot speak highly enough of Jenna and the achievements I was able to reach due to working with Jenna. I began working with Jenna after self-studying for several months and wanting to increase my score from the low 160s to the 170s. Jenna helped me identify the areas that I needed improvement on, helped develop strategies for how I would address those weaknesses, and was patient with me, adapting the study plan and her tutoring style with me as we worked together. Jenna was invaluable to me throughout my entire LSAT and Law School application journey. I took the June 2021 LSAT, but was involved in a major accident a few weeks before that left me with a traumatic brain injury and set me back significantly in my studies. Throughout the entire time, Jenna was an amazing support for me, helping me set realistic study schedules and goals after having to reschedule my test to October, and encouraging me to find ways to heal and study at the same time. Jenna has been an incredible resource and support for me both on law school applications, LSATs, and throughout my healing process, and I cannot articulate just how much this support has meant to me. With Jenna's help I have been able to improve my LSAT score, and she has gone above and beyond with helping me edit my applications and essays. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a tutor, you work with Jenna.

-A.M., Fall 2021

I came to LSAT nerds after taking a course and using a tutor from a large test prep company and not seeing the results I wanted. My wonderful tutor Amanda was able to pinpoint which strategies weren’t working for me and help me come up with new ones to replace them. She was incredibly organized and methodical and I went into test day feeling confident I had studied all the possible material on the test. In the time I worked with her, my average test scores went up 5-8 points. Amanda helped me create a custom study schedule around my other time commitments and gently helped me stay accountable to it. Amanda is also a wonderful resource on all things law school admissions — after all, she did get into Harvard!

-S.G., Fall 2021

It was an honor to work with Sabina Idriz. She’s a brilliant tutor who devotes her time in and out of zoom sessions to benefit her students. It’s absolutely insane how much time she was willing to provide to help me. I always remembered Sabina saying, “I don’t care if you have a question at 3am just text me and I’ll get back to you asap!” She supplemented our zoom sessions with spreadsheets detailing all the questions I missed, and strategies for improvement based on my strengths and weaknesses. She also provided a safe environment where I wasn’t judged for my mistakes but was encouraged to have confidence in my hard work. Sabina exudes positivity and I’m super grateful she was a part of my LSAT journey. If you want a friendly, intelligent, and caring tutor I would highly recommend Sabina.

-T.K., Fall 2021

Jenna is such an awesome tutor. I’ve never been able to connect with a tutor before, but Jenna made me feel comfortable and respected. She has incredible patience and care for her students and truly wanted me to succeed. I wouldn’t choose any other tutor if I had to to this again. Thank you for referring me to her - everyone should learn from her!

-M.S., Fall 2021

I just wanted to reach out to say thank you! I wanted to pass along my appreciation for Sabina and her help. I gained so much from my tutoring sessions with Sabina and her guidance helped me to improve my score between the August and October LSATs! Sabina was not only incredibly helpful during our sessions, she also made herself available by text for questions, created a spreadsheet with my specific PT scores and corresponding question types to study, and provided me with outside resources to reference to supplement our sessions. I truly appreciate the services LSAT Nerds offers and am so grateful to Sabina for her help!

-A.L., Fall 2021

I worked with Sabina in the weeks before my first LSAT. Going into my tutoring I had practiced the LSAT a bit but could never grasp the strategies and ways to approach the questions. Within my first 3 sessions I saw a marked improvement in my score. Moreover, by our 5th session I was consistently scoring 10 points above my diagnostic score. However, I was still lacking in many departments. This is where Sabina helped immensely. I would do practice problems alone before the sessions. She would review my work to come fully prepared with a lesson plan and a bunch of example problems each session. My goal going into this LSAT was a 165, which was truly a reach for me with the way I was scoring. To my surprise, but not to hers, I scored exactly that! She helped my confidence and made sure I believed in myself before the test. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of tutoring!!

-S.S., Summer 2021

After self-studying and scoring below my goal score on my first LSAT (April 2021), I worked with Mackenzie in order to help improve my score for my second take. Mackenzie was extremely responsive and easy to work with, and I really appreciated that she met me exactly where I was in my LSAT study process. She was super flexible in helping me to craft a study schedule that would be most effective for my goals, and helped me to determine the weak points in my understanding of the test. She also did a fantastic job of encouraging me to work through questions that I misunderstood on my own, which helped me to pinpoint exactly where I was slipping up on certain types of questions.

With Mackenzie’s help, I improved my score 11 points, and received a 179 on the June 2021 LSAT. I really valued all of the advice and wisdom that she imparted on me, and I would recommend her to anybody aiming to drastically improve their score!

-C.S., Summer 2021

Choosing to work with the LSAT Nerds has been an excellent choice. I am incredibly privileged to have worked with a company that is so supportive, helpful, and genuinely interested in seeing you succeed. LSAT Nerds made sure I was getting the most out of my tutoring sessions. They frequently set up check-ins with me to see how I was doing, and were willing to find me new tutors to best tailor to my learning needs.

I ended up spending the bulk of my time with Jenna. She was an incredibly invested tutor. She always probed me during our sessions to make sure I internalized the materials we covered. She would often go over time with me to answer my questions and she was very responsive via email. Starting with Jenna, my weakness was in the Reading Comprehension section. Jenna helped teach me the underlying structure of reading comprehension, learn recurring reading comprehension patterns, and how to best approach reading comprehension under timed conditions. Jenna always made sure to alter her approach to best suit my learning style. She was incredibly caring and my biggest cheerleader during this process. I started tutoring with LSAT Nerds two months after beginning to study on my own. At that time I started with them, my score was in the low 160s. I ended up in the low 170s on my first attempt. If you are debating who to work with for the LSAT, LSAT Nerds is most definitely the way to go.

-D.E., Summer 2021

My LSAT journey began in March 2020. After struggling to move up from a diagnostic score in the 150s, I decided to reach out to the LSAT Nerds in June 2020. From the very first phone consultation I had with the company, I knew that I had made a good choice. Wade was receptive and enthusiastic on the phone, and after taking the time to listen to my interests in the legal field, he matched me up with Jenna.

I’ve studied for the LSAT on-and-off for three years. In that time, I took classes, self-studied with many different books, and worked with various tutors. Sam was absolutely the best tutor I’ve had—his grasp of the material is just phenomenal (especially for LR!) and, perhaps more importantly, he made studying fun. After doing hundreds of problems a week, I always looked forward to debating the more challenging ones with Sam. Not only did he push me to be a better test taker, but he taught me to consider what the argument is really saying, rather than fixate on a few words.

Because of Sam, I learned to stop making excuses for bad answer choices, and ultimately managed to break through the high 160’s plateau that I had been stuck in for two years. I cannot recommend Sam highly enough.

-T.W., Summer 2021

From June through November 2020, Jenna and I worked weekly on logical reasoning and logic games. Her teaching style proved to be exactly what I needed to make real progress on the exam: she's methodical, clear, and in-depth, on top of being just an incredibly caring and lovable human. The summer of 2020 was a very stressful time for me due to factors outside of just the LSAT, and our weekly sessions quickly became an invaluable source of emotional support for me. After a disaster of an attempt on the November 2020 exam, Jenna was there to help me pick myself back up and believe in me when I didn't believe in myself. Fast forward to June 2021: I earned a 178, a score I never even thought I could have achieved. I can't thank Jenna enough for giving me the tools and knowledge I needed to develop the skills necessary to excel on the LSAT, and for all of the laughs along the way!

-A.G., Summer 2021

Prior to working with LSAT Nerds, I had been studying for about 7 months. I had used all of the PowerScore LSAT Bible books, met with individual tutors and took weekly timed practice tests. However, I felt that I had hit a wall and just couldn't break out of the mid 160s.

Working with Jacob was the best decision I made during my LSAT prep journey. He utilized easier to understand analogies to allow me to actually understand logical reasoning arguments and decipher common fallacies apparent on the LSAT exam. Not only did I become a better LSAT test taker but I felt like my grasp on logic greatly improved, which helps me in everyday life. Furthermore, he helped me implement active reading comprehension strategies to focus on author's tone, the purpose of the passage and to differentiate between context and argument. As a result, my logical reasoning and reading comprehension went from dreaded sections to areas I looked forward to practicing.

Jacob made the studying process fun for me. Not only did I learn tips and tricks for the test, but I actively enjoyed the process. I can't thank him enough for helping me reach my goals and attain a score that I previously didn't think I was capable of.

-J.B., Summer 2021

Working with Bo was an amazing experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the test and was able to pinpoint my weaknesses, giving me strategies for how to correct them. Because of Bo, I saw a noticeable improvement in my understanding of the test and the questions in it. Moreover, she was incredibly kind, friendly, understanding, and always responsive to any questions I had outside of our scheduled session times. She made the LSAT so simple to understand and imparted me with the confidence I needed to succeed. She is an outstanding tutor and I highly recommend anyone work with her!

-B.T., Summer 2021

It is safe to say The LSAT Nerds helped me land a score I never imagined I would achieve— a 179. Prior to working with Hudson, I had been struggling, in particular, to improve in reading comprehension. Hudson worked with me to create a study strategy that pinpointed my reading comprehension weaknesses, and that also practiced and perfected my abilities in the logical reasoning and analytical reasoning sections.

I decided to work with a tutor at The LSAT Nerds, because I knew it would take one-on-one support for me to get a score at the highest levels, and it was more worth it than I could have ever imagined— achieving this score has, (literally), been life changing.

Thank you Hudson; you pushed me to achieve a score I never thought I could possibly obtain!

-C.K., Spring 2021

I came to Sael with a difficult task: I'd been studying for a few months already, and my score had plateaued in the dreaded low-160s. My goal of breaking 170 seemed unachievable. I needed a tutor to help me look back over the habits and techniques I had formed, hone them, then put them into a test-taking method that would raise my score significantly. Sael helped me accomplish this in no more than a month's time. His strong conceptual understanding of the test combined with an impressive ability to find patterns in my errors helped me score a 170. Sael knows his stuff, and his explanations will make you feel far more confident going into test day. And most importantly, he's a super pleasant guy to work with! Sael, thanks so much for the help—and to anyone reading this, you'll be lucky to have him as your tutor.

-G.L., Spring 2021

I am very grateful that I got to work with Mackenzie. The LSAT is not the easiest thing in the world, but Mackenzie made it feel like it was.

Before working with Mackenzie I was self studying and watching YouTube videos which didn’t help. Rather they added to my insecurities as I was guessing the answer, but not understanding why or what made it correct/incorrect. I always heard I would start seeing a pattern throughout the LSAT but I couldn’t get to it.

When I sought tutoring I never imagined it would have been as personalized and supportive as my lessons were with Mackenzie. Mackenzie encouraged me to be persistent in my effort to understand the material. I saw major improvement in the logic game area almost immediately, but most importantly I gained the confidence that I didn’t have. The most reassuring part was that Mackenzie was affable. There was honesty, transparency, and a lot of communication, whether it was about rescheduling or an LSAT question.

If anyone were to ask me for a recommendation, I would definitely point them to the LSAT Nerds.

-P.M., Spring 2021

Larissa and the whole team at The LSAT Nerds were amazing. I was so grateful to find a structured study program that was perfectly tailored to my individual needs and my incredibly busy schedule. Larissa was always available, always there to help when I needed her, constantly encouraging me, and such a joy to be around. Without her help, I could not have improved as much as I did. I saw improvement in every section and never left a session without feeling equipped to do even better on the next exam. The insights she was able to provide by getting to know my study style could not have been gained in a large, stale, ‘one size fits all’ LSAT study program. Larissa made a daunting process exciting and fun. For once I enjoyed studying for the LSAT. I was almost sad to stop! But it wasn’t just Larissa, it was the whole program.

The workshops were phenomenal and to anyone starting with a private tutor I highly suggest attending them. It is the perfect combination of a private tutor program and group workshop.

I have recommended The LSAT Nerds and Larissa to everyone who has asked for a study recommendation. This is truly an awesome place with awesome, genuine and brilliant people. 11 out of 10.

-A.S., Spring 2021

I contacted the LSAT Nerds after a month of self-studying and not feeling any real improvement. I was taking practice tests, but not understanding some of the reasoning behind why an answer was actually right or wrong. I spoke with Josh, the owner, and he described the advantage of the LSAT Nerds’ one-on-one tutoring and encouraged me that I could quickly improve my score.

I had the pleasure of learning with Hudson and attended many of Sam’s workshops. Hudson is brilliant and fun to work with. He quickly diagnosed my weaknesses and provided me with a focused study schedule. I was able to increase my score over 10 points while working with Hudson!

The workshops are a great way to understand the reasoning of certain topics and understand how other students work through the stimulus and choose an answer. Sam is incredibly patient and can breakdown and simplify the LR so every student could follow. Sam is a fabulous teacher, and I am so happy I attended his workshops.

I then had the opportunity to work with Wade, which made all of the difference in my final LSAT score and success. Wade supported me every step of the way, whether it was with LR, LG or RC, he took the time to explain each and every answer and made sure I fully understood. Wade also helped me improve my timing and truly empowered me and built-up confidence in attacking the test. Additionally, Wade advised me through the application process and helped me choose law schools.

The entire culture of the LSAT Nerds is professional, honest, diligent, motivating and supportive. I am so glad that I went with the LSAT Nerds and am so appreciative of each of the tutors I worked with. Undoubtedly, I owe my success to the LSAT Nerds and would recommend them for anyone who wants to improve their score.

-Y.N., Spring 2021

Trying to study for the LSAT on my own was difficult and pretty confusing. I didn’t know where to start or what to focus on. My tutor Sael was able to change this! He was able to give me expert help, feedback, and direction in my studying. This help was great in my prep for the LSAT. Having an expert to look over my work and give individualized help and advice was invaluable. I am extremely happy with the help that Sael gave me in my LSAT prep and I wouldn’t be where I was today without his help.

-D.F., Spring 2021

Working with the LSAT Nerds was one of the best decisions I made with regard to navigating the LSAT and the law school admissions process. With help from Audrey and Wade, I improved my LSAT score from practice tests in the low 160s to scoring a 172 on the exam! They have been incredibly supportive, flexible, and insightful, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Between the one-on-one tutoring sessions and the many workshops they offer, they have so many resources that helped me become as prepared as possible for the LSAT. I highly recommend them!

-I.P., Spring 2021

When I first started my LSAT journey, I went the self-study route hoping to knock out the test swiftly in early August. I quickly realized this was not the proper way to handle this test and started looking for options outside of the box. I stumbled upon the LSAT Nerds and the rest is history.

When I began working with Tara, she preached having a solid foundation and building your score slowly from there. I initially came to her with a pretty low test score but through her guidance I was able to boost my score nearly 20 points! Each and every session she was supportive and helpful with any questions I would have. Even during times where my confidence was at a low or I wasn’t understanding a concept, she always had a line open to chat. Her knowledge of the tests is phenomenal and her ability to teach fundamental concepts is outstanding.

Without a doubt I would recommend Tara as a tutor. From her exceptional LSAT knowledge to just being an all-around amazing person, Tara is the way to go. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her these past few months and I can confidently say there is no one better than Tara!

-A.L., Spring 2021

Sael was a very good tutor and definitely shows mastery of the LSAT materials! Having only been studying solo prior to my tutoring, I felt it was very helpful to try and explain the logic behind a lot of the LR questions that we focused on and it made me realize why my logic was frequently wrong, and Sael was always very patient with me when I was stuck on a certain topic/question. After consistent tutoring sessions, I scored five points higher on my second LSAT compared to the first one I took. I feel like I actually understand logical reasoning better now, whereas before I was kind of guessing at what I thought was the right answer. I would definitely recommend Sael as an LSAT tutor and appreciated his easygoing nature, his kindness, and I thank him for believing I could improve at the times when I doubted myself…which was a lot!

-L.P., Spring 2021

I did not make the decision to seriously consider applying and attending law school until the summer of 2020. This gave me a late start for preparing for the application cycle for the fall of 2021. The first LSAT that I registered for was the November 2020 test. I did not know much about the LSAT and I thought that I could take a few practice tests and sort of wing it. I scored a 147 on the test which was 5 points lower than I had scored on the two practice tests I had taken. That score was a wake up call for me that I needed to get serious about the LSAT if I wanted a real shot of getting into law school. I immediately signed up for the January 2021 test and started to do research on companies that could provide me help with improving my score. I was taking five undergrad classes at the time and did not have a lot of free time to commit to an LSAT review course. I found The LSAT Nerds and it seemed like the right fit. I really liked the idea of personal one on one tutoring. I called the company and spoke to the owner who really encouraged me that I had the potential to improve my score, considering that without studying I was able to score in the 50th percentile on my first practice test. He told me to sign up to work with Audrey P. He also informed me that usually they recommend working with a tutor for two months. I then signed up for the February 2021 test. Audrey was terrific, she was extremely easy to work with, helpful and encouraging. I really felt that she cared about me doing well on the exam. After working with Audrey twice a week for about a month, I took the January test and scored a 152. That was a five point improvement on my original test and about where I was on the practice tests. When I hit around the sixth week of working with Audrey, I really hit my stride and started to consistently score between 158 and 163 on my practice tests. I took the February 2021 exam and scored a 161. That is a 14 point improvement on my original test, I went from the 30th percentile to the 82nd percentile. With my new score, I have a lot more options for the law schools that I can get into and have gone from trying for a fourth tiered school into a second tiered school. The Lsat Nerds was a lifesaver and has really changed my future law career path. I would 100% recommend the service and Audrey as a tutor.

-D.H., Winter 2021

Eunice helped me increase my score by EIGHT POINTS in only FOUR SHORT WEEKS! Her patience and kindness was exactly what I needed during my stressful time of studying. I would recommend the LSAT Nerds over any other tutoring because it is a much more personal experience than other programs. I looked for weeks for a program and was disappointed by some I called because it would just put me through to a random operator, or person that was just attempting to sell me the biggest package so they could make the most money. When I called the LSAT nerds I was directly connected to Wade, the CEO and he wanted to help me financially as well as maximizing my learning experience. Because I was tight with money, the LSAT Nerds were also great because I got to pay on a lesson to lesson basis rather than a big package all at once. With the LSAT nerds you get a tutor that genuinely cares about your score and truly wants to help you succeed. Use them!!

-K.C., Winter 2021

I decided to use The LSAT Nerds a month prior to taking my second test. I had a feel for the basics, but after only one month of studying with Michael he had fine-tuned my overall logic skills. More importantly, my test score increased by 10 points (from a 152 to a 162). Michael did an excellent job analyzing my strengths and weaknesses early on to develop a plan which worked best for me and my busy schedule. He was very accommodating in scheduling our sessions, which allowed me the flexibly I needed, while being considerate of my work schedule. Michael was personable, created a fun yet efficient study experience and was terrific at simplifying concepts that I previously struggled with. He crafted examples in areas of focus that resonated with me much more than any of the prior books I used to self study. My time with Michael, helped me go into my second test much more relaxed and confident. Without question, I would recommend using The LSAT Nerds and Michael as a tutor.

-W.R., Winter 2021

I began my LSAT journey thinking I could do everything on my own. I self-studied for several months only to slightly underperform on my first test in November. I quickly registered for the January test and began looking for some outside help to boost my score a few more points to get me consistently testing in the 170+ range. This was no small task, as I only had about six weeks to make this improvement.

When I began working with Tara, I immediately perceived how knowledgeable she was about the test. During our tutoring sessions, she was consistently helpful, enthusiastic, and supportive. She is incredibly committed to giving her tutees the most effective guidance possible. Although I came in already testing at a pretty high level, her emphasis on getting a rock-solid foundation indicates that she would be an excellent tutor for all aptitude levels. Also, in addition to providing me with exceptional instruction on the fundamentals of the test, she recommended useful stress management strategies that really helped me overcome my test anxiety and perform better the second time around.

I cannot recommend Tara highly enough; I firmly believe she is what made the difference between my November and January test scores and put me in the 170+ range. For anyone looking to improve their LSAT score (especially in a short period of time), Tara is definitely the way to go!

-E.D., Winter 2021

Before turning to the LSAT nerds I had already taken three official LSATs and had found myself stuck in the high 150s. It felt like I had tried everything, investing time and money into various online courses, books, and self-study for over a year- to no avail. My goal score was a 165, which seemed very out of reach after months of putting in time and not seeing results on test day. I struggled with test anxiety and a lack of confidence, and my scores on test day would be drastically lower than my practice tests.

After I took the November 2020 LSAT-flex and scored the same as I had the very first time I wrote it I knew I needed a new strategy. I had already submitted law school applications so my only option left was to take the January sitting, less than 2 months away. It was then that my parents suggested tutoring, which must have been the only thing I hadn’t tried yet. The LSAT nerds seemed like the most affordable company that specialized in the LSAT, so I booked a session with Emily Chung who was recommended when I signed up.

Emily is an absolutely amazing person and tutor, and she helped me improve my score from a 159 to a 165 in a little over one month. Emily is patient, understanding, clear in her explanations, and is one of the smartest people I have had the pleasure to (virtually) meet. She pushed me to break bad logic game habits, form new strategies, and encouraged me to have a positive mindset and attitude going into test day. I know for a fact that if it wasn’t for Emily’s help, there is no way I could have improved my score so quickly. Before working with her, I would dread opening my LSAT prep books and would push off studying whenever I could. Emily made me look forward to studying/tutoring, as she made all the concepts seem so understandable and clear. Further, the LSAT nerds hosted a variety of seminars and proctored tests which I found very helpful in reducing my anxiety on test day. Overall, I am incredibly thankful that I decided to go with Emily and the rest of the LSAT nerds team.

-A.M., Winter 2021

My LSAT score is officially somewhere on the chart (or above!) for all the schools I am applying to. I went up 9 points between the October and January LSAT, and I could NOT have done it without Jenna in my corner. From a content perspective, she was patient, thorough, and encouraging. She help me get laser focused on which pieces of the test I needed to devote my energies and see the aspects of the test that were about rote understanding and which parts were more of a “game.” Jenna is a wizard at making abstract concepts more concrete while also making sure I universalized more concrete concepts to carry from question to question.

On a more personal level, she helped me get acquainted to the “touchy-feely” parts of standardized testing—which I can assure you I had never thought about. She helped me feel confident and centered going into test day, and kept me grounded in the balance of the importance of this test while reminding me it wasn’t the end all be all of my abilities—as a future lawyer or as a human being. Spending an hour and half with someone 3x a week is no joke, and I am so grateful for Jenna!

-B.W., Winter 2021

I first began studying for the LSAT back in the spring. I used a number of prep books and Khan Academy’s free online prep service. I wrote the October and November 2020 LSATs and scored 152 on both. I knew I needed some one-on-one tutoring to break into the 160s so I decided to do some research online. I stumbled upon LSAT Nerds by chance, and I’m so happy I did. Following a 15-minute phone consult, Josh paired me with Darcy and we got straight to work on the logical reasoning section. As I was preparing applications for Fall 2021, Darcy knew time was limited for me and thus she tailored the sessions to fit my needs. She was very patient while explaining the questions that stumped me and was extremely encouraging. She changed my mindset going into the test and I felt more confident writing it the third time around than the previous ones. Aside from the private tutoring sessions, I also greatly benefitted from the workshops run by Wade and Sam. The combination of private sessions and workshops helped me achieve a 162 in just under two months. I could not recommend the LSAT Nerds more!

-Q.B., Winter 2021

If it wasn't for Soojin and her expertise I doubt I would have even had the courage to take the January LSAT, much less get a solid 165! From September to January I went from sceptically nodding along when she told me that Logic Games were possible to do within the time constraints to crushing them every time. She helped me not only learn the various approaches available for each section and question type, but also understand what was best for me when it came to conquering the LSAT. I highly recommend Soojin, she's truly an LSAT expert and I'm so glad I found her when I did!

-A.A., Winter 2021

I can’t thank LSAT Nerds and my tutor Hudson enough. It seems not too long ago I had no idea what LG or LR was saying or finish on time. I struggled with LR more than the other sections. It just took me longer to understand what LR was saying. Hudson was patient and took the time to breakdown and simplify it for me. He wouldn’t move on until I completely understood the argument. He even drew pictures so I could see what the argument was saying. I have an extremely busy schedule and he was very flexible with scheduling sessions. I was able to increase my score 14 points by test day. Thank You for also offering the multiple free workshops. They were helpful in getting started.

I would recommend LSAT Nerds for anyone looking for LSAT prep.

-R.H., Winter 2021

I was about 4 months away from taking the LSAT for the second time when I contacted LSAT Nerds. The first time I took the LSAT I did miserably, but now I was doing alright in the low 160s on practice tests. I wanted to raise my score so that I was consistently scoring in the high 160s. They gave me some great resources and helped me see which areas needed more focus and which ones were a bit stronger. Ethan Seidenberg was enthusiastic about the material he was teaching and showed me where my thinking went wrong when I chose the wrong answer. He could connect dots for me to better understand certain aspects of the material. Ethan makes the tedious nature of studying for the LSAT more fun and even gets you excited to study. My score rose to 168 on the LSAT and I owe much of that to the work Ethan put into developing lesson plans and explaining nuances to question types along the way. Ethan did a great job covering the material in an enthusiastic way and giving me the confidence I needed going into the LSAT.

-J.S., Winter 2021

Originally, I had started studying for the LSAT on my own with prep books. I did not feel confident when I took the August 2020 exam and, thus, did not perform to the best of my abilities. I worked with Larissa for several weeks to understand exactly how to tackle certain types of questions. She was very patient with me throughout the whole process. She really took her time to explain when I didn’t understand. We focused around improving my weaknesses, which really helped me prepare. I scored 13 points higher for the February 2021 exam and I am very pleased with the progress I made with Larissa.

-N.J., Winter 2021

When I reached out to LSAT Nerds I had been self studying for a few months and had one LSAT attempt under my belt. I was lost. My studying had little direction and I was desperate for help to improve my score.

Tatiana’s knowledge of the LSAT and excellent teaching helped me improve my score in a little over a month. She clearly explained concepts that I previously could not comprehend. Tatiana tailored her lessons to my teaching style and always remained positive and encouraging. She believed in me and helped me believe in myself. Tatiana helped me improve 3 points in only a month.

In addition to being a phenomenal tutor Tatiana became a source of support for me. I found the process of studying and writing the LSAT isolating. My family and friends were there for me but didn’t fully understand what I was going through. Tatiana understood my frustrations and validated how I felt. Tatiana was an incredible teacher and an essential part of my success on the LSAT.

-M.A., Winter 2021

Sebastian Miller is an excellent and passionate tutor. I highly recommend him to be your tutor as he will keep you engaged, hold you accountable, and make this difficult process more fun! I was able to increase my score by 9 points in only a month and a half. He does a great job of explaining difficult LR sections. One of the best qualities about Sebastian is that he is not only a teacher, but a motivator. I am truly grateful to have met someone dedicated to helping me on my journey to law school and you will be too!

-B.D., Winter 2021

Working with Eunice was the missing piece of my LSAT puzzle that I didn't know I needed. Not only is she a joy to work with but her teaching style is subtle and clever so hitting those inevitable LSAT walls was easier to manage. She genuinely cares about her students, which is evident in her approach towards each test section and individual questions. She makes her high expectations known and challenged me in the best way. It was so nice to have her in my corner!

My actual LSAT experience was not ideal due to technical difficulties. Despite my unideal circumstances, I hit my goal score! Eunice was a huge part of that. She gave me the strategies to treat the LSAT in an approachable way and really was invaluable in my success. I truly believe I wouldn't have gotten to this point without her and would recommend her to anyone, any day.

As a company I would recommend you guys as well. I was skeptical about working with a tutor but your approach and my experience with Eunice completely changed my thinking. Thank you for all that you do.

-S.S., Winter 2021

Michael was an excellent tutor! With his help, I was able to raise my LSAT score 7 points in just over 2 months. Michael is very knowledgeable, not only in terms of the contents of the LSAT itself, but also in terms of organization, mental health and goal-setting. Michael went above and beyond, and taught me skills that helped me to schedule my studying, keep records of my progress and remain in a positive mindset throughout the process. He kept me accountable to my study plan, and because of his support I was able to significantly improve my score in such a short amount of time. It was evident that Michael genuinely cared about my progress, and because of this I was able to receive an offer from my dream school. I have a friend that is preparing to start her LSAT journey, and I will be referring her to Ascend LSAT and specifically Michael to help her reach her goals, as I would to anyone who is looking for a top-quality LSAT program and tutor.

-A.L., Winter 2021

I first took the LSAT in July and underperformed. I knew that I needed a bit of a boost in my performance to get the score I needed. Choosing to go through this journey with Jenna as my tutor was one of the smartest decisions I have made in this long and arduous process. From the get-go, she was patient, kind, and helpful. The positive energy she brought to our classes gave me the encouragement I needed when things got tough, and her uniquely effective approach to teaching has been instrumental in getting me a 6-point increase on the test to a 172.

Jenna has an extraordinarily intuitive grasp of the LSAT and of the skills it tests. When I spoke to her about the broad topics and types of questions I had trouble with, she unpacked my concerns and addressed them in a way that totally changed the way I approached the test. She didn’t just teach me how to solve a given problem; she instead deconstructed the concepts at its core so that I could apply what I learned to various other questions. Jenna was also always accessible by email and she was always super flexible and accommodating, despite the significant time difference we had to work around.

I would recommend Jenna as a tutor to anyone who wants to do well on the LSAT, whatever their initial aptitude or skill level may be. I am immensely grateful for having benefited from her help at such a crucial time in the application process, and I hope that many future test-takers are also able to benefit from her expertise and deeply empathetic style of teaching!

-K.G., Fall 2020

Bottom line up front, 156 to 171 thanks to the LSAT Nerd and specifically Sam. I started my LSAT journey motivated but confused as to what would be the most efficient use of my time. I tried self study, bringing me to the low 160s range, then worked with a different tutor (Non-LSAT Nerd) who didn't get my score much higher.

It was when I called Wade, who set me up with Sam, and assured me that he was the best. He would be correct. Sam worked with me for about 3 months and had me PTing in the 175 range. His style of teaching makes you feel like you're just studying with a friend, and that relaxed environment really helps to understand the material.

Being Active Duty Military, with an incredibly unpredictable schedule, I put Sam through the ringer with constant time changes across about 4 different time zones. Sam was able to make it work everytime, and we never had to skip a lesson.

I could not possibly recommend Sam enough, he literally made it so I could work full time, increase my score higher than others told me was possible, and even talk hypothetical law school applications. 10/10 for sure.

-L.F., Fall 2020

I scored a 154 on my first diagnostic but I knew I was capable of more. I worked with Wade from October to August and I don’t know how I would have navigated the process without him. He didn’t just teach the test but also taught how the skills were useful for law school. Unlike a group class, Wade’s sessions were great for targeting my specific weaknesses and improving them. He allowed me to lead our sessions depending on the questions I had but also taught me approaches to the test I couldn’t find sifting through hundreds of dollars of prep books. Wade was encouraging when the test seemed daunting and made studying more manageable. After retaking a 169 in June, I scored at my goal of 170 for the August flex test. As a former law student himself, Wade was also a great resource to answer questions with clarity and patience. Wade brought a calm and even-keeled energy to an otherwise anxiety-filled process. Wade really cares about all his clients and gives a lot, making himself available at some really crazy times of day. If I were to do the cycle over, I would have signed up with LSAT Nerd earlier!

-N.W., Fall 2020

Jenna is the best LSAT teacher I had during my two years of studying LSAT. I was stuck in the mid to high 160s and within two months I could break that wall of 170s, reaching my goal by October. As an international applicant I was skeptical to use LSAT tutoring services because of the time difference. I had no problem working with Jenna despite the 14 hour time zone difference, and she was always easy to reach.

What I especially liked (which is what especially helped me) was that Jenna and I both pitched in when deciding what to do for each class, and so the classes were very well tailored to my needs. Jenna's method of teaching is very clear, and she makes hard LSAT concepts very easy to understand with sufficient, easy examples. She noticed the fundamental problems, seeing beyond my comment of 'I'm getting a bunch of X type of questions wrong.'

I would definitely recommend her class to a wide range of students, from the ones that are just starting to grasping basic LSAT concepts to those who are trying to refine just a few skills they are missing.  Finally, Jenna's regular check in emails and encouraging words before the test helped me tremendously to calm my nerves when the test was right around the corner. I was very lucky to work with her, and I hope more students can share my experience!

-Y.J., Fall 2020

I started studying for the LSAT on my own and was stuck at the high 150s for a month, I had a tutor before I discovered the LSAT Nerds and that tutor was not able to get me where I needed to be. With two weeks until test day, I started working with Sam and he is the best! Sam's teaching style clicked with me immediately and brought me to my goal score of 166 on test day. He is extremely knowledgeable about the test and is able to explain the most complex LR questions in a way that I could understand. Sam cares a lot about his students and regularly checked in with me to see how the studying was going. He helped me tremendously throughout the whole LSAT and law school admissions process. I really enjoyed doing prep tests and coming to our sessions. The workshops offered by the LSAT Nerds is a great supplement to my LSAT studies, I always looked forward to coming to them. Sam is very encouraging and has a lot of kind words to keep me going even when I underperform in a prep test. He prepared me mentally and emotionally for test day and was with me every step of the way. Sam is the best LSAT tutor out there, I couldn't have done it without him, highly recommended!!

-S.C., Fall 2020

Tara was my secret weapon! I started studying for the August '20 LSAT in May and as test day approached I knew I needed a boost. I worked with Tara and the LSAT Nerds for a couple weeks leading up to the test and she was able to help me improve my score greatly. Very quickly, Tara was able to hone in on the key areas I needed the most help and we developed a plan to move forward. She was patient, precise and used our time wisely to get me to my goal. Not only did we cover the material but she also helped me with my confidence and time management strategies for each section of the test. After the test was over she also helped me work through my personal statement for my applications. She totally took my personal statement to the next level. All her help led to me getting accepted to my number one school! I couldn’t have done any of it without her help and words of encouragement. I would highly recommend working with Tara and the LSAT Nerds as part of your test prep plan and/or personal statement help!

-S.B., Fall 2020

Yash began tutoring me in the final weeks before I took the August 2020 exam when I realized the previous prep course did not assist me enough in strategically studying! When I decided to take the October 2020 exam, Yash tutored me again for about six weeks and definitely helped me improve my score! I highly recommend not only The LSAT Nerd, but also Yash, for anyone that needs one-on-one preparation for the LSAT exam!

-S.M., Fall 2020

Deciding to work with the LSAT Nerd was the best decision I made in regards to preparing for the LSAT. Like many students, the LSAT did not come naturally to me. It is an exceptionally difficult test that requires you to think in a way you never have before. When I first started working with Josh in March of 2020, I was, on average, getting only eight questions correct per section. It took me about 2 hours to finish one 5 question logic game. I was basically starting at ground zero.

I worked with Josh consistently, and with each session, I saw more and more improvement. Not only did he explain why each answer choice was correct or not correct, but he also taught me how to look at the question in a way that directly led me to the right answer. He taught me how to spot patterns in question types and how to identify wrong answer choices. He gave me the tools that resulted in a disciplined and confident test taker, which led to an immense amount of improvement. From my first diagnostic to my final LSAT score, I had a 16 point increase.

However, aside from being a tutor, Josh was a mentor. He increased my confidence as a person and taught me valuable skills that helped me create a balanced life when studying for the LSAT. He also is a great listener and helped me get through really difficult times. When the pandemic first started, the LSAT Nerd went above and beyond and held three-hour-long LSAT workshops for their students for free, multiple times a week. Not only did I get to focus on specific skills for three hours daily, but I also got to work with many other tutors. Their dedication to their students is incredible, and that is something you don't find very often in other LSAT preparation companies.

I couldn't be more grateful for Josh and the LSAT Nerd. I would not be in the position I am today without them.

-K.D., Fall 2020

I began my LSAT journey by taking a diagnostic test. I scored a 143 and was pretty bummed. I self studied for a few months and was able to bring my score to a 152. I got stuck at this score for 3 months before I decided to pursue tutoring with the LSAT Nerd. I chose the LSAT Nerd as my tutor because I liked the individual study plans they create for each student depending on their needs. Also the free classes they give to students is invaluable.

My tutor for a little more than 4 months was Sam Rosenberg and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He completely changed the LSAT for me and in a very short time after working with him I was able to see an improvement in my score. I went from a 152 to scoring a 161 on my first LSAT with him. This process took a little more than 2 months. He helped me in all 3 sections but especially in LR which was my worst section. He would meet with me multiple times per week and we would go over any errors I made from the PTs I had taken. He left no stone unturned and made sure that I was able to fully grasp the material.

I decided I wanted to take the LSAT one more time in hopes for a higher score. Sam continued to meet with me on a weekly basis and work with me and it showed on test day. I was able to make a 164 on the October LSAT which is a game changer for applying to law schools. Thanks to the LSAT Nerd and Sam I was able to go from a 152 (52nd Percentile) to a 164 (89th Percentile). I would recommend them to anyone who is serious about making a better LSAT score. The process of studying for the LSAT can be lonely and anxiety producing and the LSAT Nerds make it easy and dare I say enjoyable. Aside from studying for the LSAT, Sam also helped me with my personal statement. This is also a complicated process and he was able to help me pick an important topic and get it finished. I cannot say thank you enough for everything Sam was able to help me with.

-N.B., Fall 2020

Working with Zek for these past 2 months has been extremely helpful and such a positive experience! After self-studying for 2 months without a stable point increase, I was starting to feel overwhelmed by the LSAT. That’s when I decided to look for a tutor who could remind me that the LSAT, though a formidable challenge, wasn’t impossible. Zek was just the person for the task! Zek is a tutor that really makes the most of both your classes, and your studying outside of class. In class, I really appreciated that Zek taught me by asking me to walk through my process of solving questions and helping me to refine it. By explaining my process, I was able to better understand my shortcomings and improve my skills rather than simply memorizing the right answer, which wouldn’t help me on a future test. Outside of class, I really appreciated that Zek sent me a daily homework schedule and explained best practices for self-review. He was also super responsive over email and would answer additional questions in between sessions. Lastly, Zek is super supportive! The LSAT is not only a battle of wits, but also a mental battle, so having a supportive LSAT tutor to help you weather a bad PT is very reassuring. Even after I’d stopped taking classes with him, Zek still checked in and provided me advice over email regarding LSAT and even law school more generally. Suffice it to say, I am a lot more confident about my understanding of the LSAT now, and I have Zek to thank for this!

-A.N., Fall 2020

Jenna was a fantastic LSAT tutor! Under her guidance, I was able to improve my score from a 155 to a 168 in just a few months. Jenna helped me identify my weaknesses both in my conceptual understanding and in my test preparation. Through her tutorials and question deep dives, I quickly gained insight and filled gaps in my knowledge. This not only made me better at the LSAT, but also improved my critical thinking in general. I highly recommend Jenna as a tutor for anyone seeking LSAT training tailored for their specific needs. I am extremely grateful for all of the help Jenna gave me during this process. I couldn’t have done it without her!

-P.M., Fall 2020

Over several months leading up to the October LSAT I worked with Yash Mehta through The LSAT Nerd. Yash was a great tutor. He knows his stuff, is easy to work with, and provided me with concrete skills I would not have learned had I only used the study books with which I began. Those skills helped me in concrete ways to improve on every section of the test. I was especially pleased to see how much I improved on logic games while working with him. He was friendly, patient, and an all-around great guy to work with. I went from a 155 on my diagnostic test to a 165 on test day thanks to his tutoring. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to significantly improve their score before test day. Thank you for the great tutors you work with!

-W.J., Fall 2020

When I started planning to take my LSAT, I had planned to write it in August 2020, and I was supposed to start studying in April. But then days went by and I got busy with work, and suddenly it was June and I had barely studied. I tried studying on my own, and I got a lot done too, but my goal was a score of 160 and I wasn't getting higher than a 152 on practice tests. Feeling desperate, I sought out help from LSAT nerds 2.5 weeks before my scheduled test and got connected with Phuntso. Even in such a dire case, Phuntso had faith in me and that was the motivation I didn't even know I needed. We had three sessions each week, and in 8 classes, I was ready to crush the LSAT. He developed practice techniques directly tailored to my learning style so I got the most from each session. Not only that, but he also assigned homework, which for someone like me who finds it easy to stick to schedules, was a lifesaver. I was comfortable with the test, which I had never dreamed was going to be a possibility, and I ended with a score of 164. None of this would have been possible without the help of Phuntso. He is an awesome teacher and I couldn't recommend him enough. Thank you LSAT nerds!!

-A.U., Fall 2020

I worked with Sam for four and a half months studying for the LSAT while also balancing a full time career and it was hands down the best decision I made in my law school application process. Sam helped me get from a 150 to a 173 in my time working with him all while making the studying process enjoyable. I genuinely looked forward to our one on one meetings and to the LSAT Nerd workshops because they made it interesting, digestible, and fun. It is definitely hard to balance studying with full time work, but Sam helped me focus my time and strategize my studying to help me succeed with the limited time and resources I had. He helped me to actually understand the material and the strategy of the test, which was crucial for someone with a limited amount of time to study. In the weeks leading up to the test, I was consistently performing well on practice tests, and in the end I got a great score that I am proud to talk about. Without Sam, I absolutely would not have gotten the score that I did. If you are looking for an awesome tutor who can help you genuinely understand the test and enjoy studying for it, Sam is your guy. Highly highly recommend!

-K.K., Fall 2020

Jenna was the best tutor! I came to her with a 162 and ended up with a 177 on the actual LSAT. She was able to help me improve in all sections: LR, LG, and even RC. Not only did Jenna help me during our sessions, she gave me drills for independent practice which also added to my 15 point score increase. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone taking the LSAT.

-J.M., Fall 2020

Over the course of meeting twice per week for 6 weeks, Hudson Bennett was able to take my skills to the next level. I began studying for the LSAT in April, using every resource I could get my hands on (LSATMax, 7Sage, LSAT Trainer, PowerScore Bibles, etc.). I ended up taking the exam in August and got a 165. Although I had higher goals and expectations than this score, I just could not seem to break through the mid-160s on my own. I tried to find a tutor, but it seemed everyone was outrageously expensive or not very qualified. Then, I found LSAT Nerds and Hudson! Hudson broke down what I was doing into very simple, easy-to-understand terms. He facilitated my ability to catch improper and useless manners of thinking. Hudson is very patient and takes the time to drill down important skills, making sure you DO NOT make the same mistake twice. Thanks to Hudson, I raised my testing average to a range of 168-170, hitting that range on the November LSAT-Flex and giving myself a very good shot to reach my dream law school! Overall, I am incredibly thankful I decided to go with Hudson.

-M.F., Fall 2020

Tara is an excellent tutor. She possesses the knowledge required to help her clients, but even more importantly, she is able to teach everything well. Her explanations make sense and provide clarity to otherwise difficult and confusing problems and concepts. She understands and is able to relate to her clients, as she has been through all of the studying, the application process, etc. In addition, she is able to diagnose weaknesses and provide ways to improve upon them.

On top of all of that, she is fun to work with. I really enjoyed getting to know her during our time working together. She is a genuine person; she understands that this is a difficult test and will push you to do the absolute best you can. If you need motivation, she will provide it.

I almost gave up on going to law school. After scoring a 148 on the January test after three months of self-studying, I didn’t think I would be able to get to where I wanted to go. But with Tara’s help, I was able to increase my score 17 points, up to a 165. I now have so many great opportunities to pursue, all of which I would not have been able to even consider if not for the help of Tara and the LSAT Nerds.

-C.R., Fall 2020

Michael was a phenomenal tutor! Over the course of 6 weeks and even after the LSAT, he was not just a great tutor, but a great coach. The LSAT can be an overwhelming exam when you first start studying, which was the case for me, but with Michael’s help and guidance, I felt confident and ready on test day.

On top of being so knowledgeable about the LSAT, Michael was a great teacher. He was able to break down complicated questions and arguments and pinpoint where my weaknesses were so we could tackle them together. We went into every session with a game plan and every homework assignment was targeted to not only improve my score, but also to improve my understanding of every section and problem that I was facing.

The best part of working with Michael is that he really cares about his students! By the end of our time together, it felt as though I was working with a friend. He works hard to make you feel ready on test day by working on your stresses, anxieties and improving your confidence. Even after the exam, we hopped on a quick Zoom call to talk through the test and how to improve my score if I chose to take the exam again. His passion for his students and their success comes through in every tutoring session, email and correspondence.

I can’t thank Michael and the LSAT Nerds enough for all of their help and support during the LSAT preparation experience!

-M.S., Fall 2020

I am so grateful to have found the LSAT Nerds to help with my LSAT study experience. I am a mature student out of school for 20 years with a young family. My challenges were great working around these factors and LSAT Nerds accommodated my schedule and gave me the confidence to believe that I could succeed. It took me some time to get my mind back into thinking this way and the combination of working with Michael and taking advantage of the free workshops helped immensely. Michael was an excellent study guide, helping me through every step of the way. He continually analyzed my homework statistics to optimize session and study strategies. He was also extremely patient, supportive and worked with my learning style to differentiate instruction until I could confidently grasp the concepts. Michael and the LSAT Nerds I believe are in a different class from other test prep competitors as they take a holistic approach to coaching that provides support on all aspects that may impact the test day experience. I have tried others in the past and feel there is no comparison. Michael and the LSAT Nerds were truly invested in my success on the test. Thank you!

-A.M., Fall 2020

I started working with Hudson about six weeks before I took the LSAT. I had been self-studying and using the PowerScore books but was still scoring in the mid to high 160s on my practice tests, which was below my target score. In particular, I was really struggling with Logic Games and getting the timing right. Hudson broke down the games in a way that was very clear and digestible, and was always patient in walking through particular games that I had found difficult. He was also very encouraging and helped me be more confident about my test-taking skills. I ended up getting a 173, above my target score, and I’m so grateful to Hudson for all of his help!

-M.S., Fall 2020

I started working with Sam about three months before the August 2020 LSAT. August was my fourth time taking the exam and Sam was the third tutor that I had worked with (the others from different tutoring companies). Sam was able to help me raise my score by 11 points from my previous exam for a final score of 170. Before I started working with Sam, I felt like I was struggling to make any significant change in the way that I approached the test and subsequently was not seeing results that I knew I was capable of. From the start, Sam was able to help me identify my problem areas and develop a targeted approach to the types of questions that I struggled with. I saw significant improvement in just a few weeks of working with him. He was not only helpful in working out solutions with me during our one-on-ones but he also spent time outside of our sessions finding specific questions and sections for me to practice that were tailored to the problems we had identified. What I loved most about how our tutoring worked was the holistic approach that Sam took -- the LSAT is more than just mastering the test material, it is also about getting over mental hurdles and the pressure that you feel to perform at your best on test day. Sam helped me get to a point where I felt confident in the whole process before going into the test. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed working with Sam and looked forward to our tutoring sessions. I work full-time and he was always very flexible with my schedule in figuring out times to meet. I could not recommend Sam more to anyone looking for a tutor. I couldn't have done this without him!

K.C., Fall 2020

I absolutely loved working with Amanda! She was patient and really helped me find better strategies to save time on the LSAT which I was struggling with. She really got to know where my weaknesses and strengths were and we were able to work on them together. I noticed my scores going much higher and the time I took answering questions and strategies I used were so much more efficient then when I was self studying last year.

S.A., Fall 2020

This past summer, I had an exceptional experience working with Tara as my tutor. She converts her deep knowledge of the exam into an everyday understanding for the LSAT student. We started from scratch, and by the end of our sessions she had given me the tools and confidence I needed to attack the exam and gain significant improvement. I'd highly recommend Tara.

-A.D., Fall 2020

Jenna is awesome to work with because she is very encouraging throughout the preparation process and takes time to make sure you understand the material well. In just a month between the July LSAT 2020 and August LSAT 2020, she helped me boost my score 10 points- well above what I was hoping for. I’m very thankful I had her as my tutor and I would strongly recommend her to anyone studying for the LSAT!

-J.C., Fall 2020

I studied for the LSAT for three months. I started with the Powerscore Bibles and completed them the first month of studying. I didn't find my score going up so I got a tutor and he didn't help. With a month left until the LSAT I called the LSAT Nerd and had Jonathan as my tutor! I told him what my goal score was and we worked three times a week, trying new techniques to boost my score. There were lots of ups and downs to the process but I just got my score back on Friday and I got my goal score!! From my baseline to test day I increased 20 points and I could not be happier with my results. Jonathan helped me so much and I really could not thank him enough!!!

B.S., Fall 2020

I've been teaching for the last five years, and have been a high-stakes testing tutor myself, and so I have high standards for folks who are in the business of tutoring/education. Sam is, hands-down, the best. He clearly is tutoring the LSAT because he cares about the content and his students. He was there for me every step of the way and brought me from a 166 to a 171 in a few months. His planning was exceptional and anytime I reached out to him he was ready and willing to answer my questions. Moreover, he went above and beyond in his time to help with things extraneous to the test itself both during and after the process -- like helping me decide the costs and benefits of taking the test again and looking over my personal statement. There is no one better than Sam in this process and I recommend him strongly to anyone who is looking for help in this extremely stressful process! Thank you so much Sam!

-K.T., Fall 2020

Hudson tutored me for about 6 weeks before I took the August LSAT flex. I’ve used all of the books out there, have tried self study and have tried lsat classes. But Hudson helped me improve my LSAT score more than I could have hoped or asked. Hudson gave me the confidence I needed to succeed and put my dream school in reach! Hudson was nothing but helpful, patient and kind. I recommend Hudson to anyone that tells me that they are looking to take the LSAT. Big thank you to him!

-C.S., Fall 2020

Alex was a consistent and encouraging tutor who gave me an indomitable spirit in the face of a test I had feared since college. He provided me with a rigid practice routine, which perfectly fit into my schedule after work. By the time I took the test I was able to see why he called each section eminently learnable. Not only was my mindset changed for the better, my plan of attack was, too. I would suggest Alex to any of my friends who are preparing for the LSAT.

-J.G., Fall 2020

After trying to study for the July LSAT on my own and getting a score I wasn’t satisfied with, I contacted the LSAT Nerd to give myself a more organized study plan. Working with Yash helped me to identify my problem sections and systematically work at them until I felt comfortable and prepared for the test in October. Throughout the whole process, Yash was motivational, optimistic, and always ready to answer any questions that I had. He is the kind of person who will explain the same concept to you over and over until you understand, without making you feel bad about not getting it the first time. I absolutely recommend him to anybody looking for a tutor who is not only there to help you perform on the test but also someone who cares about your well being throughout the stressful LSAT process.

-E.B., Fall 2020

Jonathan is a fantastic LSAT tutor. In every section, he is able to meticulously break down the components of the question and teach you strategies that become critical on test day. He provides study plans, test-taking tips, and really cares about you understanding how to beat the LSAT. When I was struggling with a particular question type, he compiled a list of that question- type for me to really hone my skills. Even outside of our sessions, he always checked in on my progress and asked me if I had any additional questions he could answer. My success is his success and that is a great feeling as a student to know you have someone on your side.

-A.R., Fall 2020

Jenna is amazing! She’s extremely patient and uses simple, well-organized methods to help break down the variables step by step so you fully grasp the concept. She was clear and eloquent and made the effort to ensure I thoroughly understood everything we went over. Jenna encouraged me throughout the entire process and during my LSAT tutoring experience with her, she gave me the confidence I needed to be successful. On my first try I was able to score high enough to get into my first choice law school and I couldn’t have done it without her!

-B.G., Fall 2020

Wade worked tirelessly to get me to realize my lsat potential, starting with my lack of confidence in the daunting standardized exam. He made himself readily available for sessions whenever I wanted to meet and explained tricky topics to me with such poise and ease. The tri-weekly group sessions led by Wade and Sam were a great way to go over topics I learned one on one with Wade and by myself and I strengthened my lsat confidence when I answered questions in front of other students. You will not go wrong by working with LSAT Nerds!

-E.H., Fall 2020

After being told by many other tutors, I did not have enough time to improve my LSAT score, I assumed I would have to write the LSAT twice, but after three weeks of tutoring with Hudson I am pleased to say I will be keeping my score from my first attempt. I saw a huge improvement in my practice tests with a 6 point increase on test day. Hudson went above and beyond, sending me practice sections to do outside of our 90 minute sessions and remained extremely patient during our sessions. His method is easy to follow, and he will work through questions until you have a full understanding. Overall I am very glad I got Hudson as a tutor.

-E.S., Fall 2020

After self-studying with the Powerscore Bibles for a few months and bouncing around in the 160s, I started tutoring with Wade and scored a 171 on my official LSAT! Each session, Wade focused on my specific needs and helped me develop reliable strategies that were significantly more effective than the general tips and tricks I found in self-study books. Not only did he focus on each section and concept individually, he also worked through practice questions and passages with me to help to ensure I could apply the lessons I was learning to actual testing situations. Wade catered these lessons to my strengths and weaknesses and consistently demonstrated how the skills I was developing would translate into my legal career, making tutoring sessions more engaging and fulfilling. He even ensured that I was motivated and excited for what's to come with regular check-ins and inspiration. His help and support made me more prepared for the LSAT, law school, and my future as a lawyer! I cannot thank him enough!

-T.D., Summer 2020

Wade was great to work with! He quickly got me from the mid-160s to 170s on my practice tests, and I ended up with a 175 on my official LSAT after 2 months of tutoring. Before I met with him, I'd self-studied for a few months using prep guides like the LSAT Bibles, the LSAT Trainer, and the Loophole, but I was still stuck in the mid-160s. It was a real game changer for me to have a tutor who not only challenged me to think more critically, but also provided me with much-needed support when I felt frustrated from a bad day of studying. Thanks, Wade!

-V.T., Summer 2020

Working with Josh (the LSAT Nerd) has been by far one of the most rewarding experiences on my journey to law school! His unparalleled skill in logic and critical thinking, ability to effectively adapt to my learning methods, frequent encouragement, and sincere interest in helping me achieve my desired goals allowed me to realize a 13-point score increase on test day compared to my initial practice LSAT. So, DO NOT worry! With Josh in your corner, you are in great hands.

-L.B., Summer 2020

I met with Sam consistently for about 6 weeks. In that time, I saw my practice test scores rise from the low 160s to high 160s and even into the 170s, with a final score increase of 7 points on test day. Sam was a great tutor, very flexible with his time, and obviously an LSAT expert. He was even able to help me with some test taking strategies as I was dealing with some test anxiety. I cannot recommend him enough and I definitely credit him with my test day success!

-S.L., Summer 2020

Jenna is an amazing tutor! As someone that has struggled with standardized tests in the past, I was very worried about the LSAT. Before coming to the LSAT Nerd I had studied with several different materials but was stuck scoring around a 160. With only one month of tutoring, Jenna really helped me improve in the logic games and logical reasoning sections. She gave me great strategies to improve my timing and always made sure I understood why wrong answers were incorrect. Jenna truly cares about her students and made studying for the LSAT more enjoyable than I thought it could be. On my first LSAT exam, I was able to score a 167. I couldn’t have done it without Jenna’s help!

-R.C., Summer 2020

Working with Josh was such a great decision for me, and for my LSAT. In each meeting, he was professional and personable, and I feel like I learned a lot from working with him. I learned details of the test that I hadn’t picked up on in my self studying. I would recommend working with Josh and with LSAT Nerd to anyone who is able.

-M.F., Summer 2020

I came to Josh after months of self-studying and an LSAT score that I was incredibly unhappy with. In my personal experience, studying for the LSAT was so stressful and grueling, but Josh was able to pinpoint my weaknesses and help me attack them head on. I felt more accomplished and confident after every session. Even through my frustrations, which were fairly frequent, Josh was patient and understanding. After a few months with Josh, I ended up taking the LSAT again and improving my original score by 11 points. I would recommend the LSAT Nerd a million times over and cannot thank Josh enough!

-B.Z., Summer 2020

Working with Wade took me from a diagnostic score of ~148 to a 177 within three months. My original goal was a 172 (75th percentile at my target school), but Wade inspired me to aim higher. Although I called The LSAT Nerd for help with logic games, Wade also helped me improve in reading comprehension, where I already had strong performance. His methods made "main point" questions finally click for me and carried me to a consistent -1 to -3 on the section. I also had strong performance on logical reasoning but Wade made custom problem sets for me so I saw improvements in this area of the test as well.

Throughout my work with Wade, he helped me identify study skills that will work in law school and explained how the test parallels legal education itself. This helped me to stay motivated while working full-time. I also appreciated that Wade wove admissions consulting into our sessions. His advice on the application process was so helpful that I engaged him after the test for several hours of more formal consulting and personal statement editing work.

I applied to several T14 schools after their deadlines and had a tremendously successful (if highly abbreviated) application cycle. I was admitted to my dream school within a week of submitting my application. I received a scholarship of nearly 75% from a regional school in the top 25 and used this offer to negotiate a 40% discount at my desired T14 school.

Based on my amazing results, I am confident that The LSAT Nerd offers the same quality of service as more established consultants, at a fraction of the price, and that their tutoring services are best-in-class.

-A.K., Spring 2020

Over the course of three years I self-studied and sat for the LSAT 4 times, improving only two points. After six weeks of tutoring sessions with Alex I was able to increase my score by an additional three points, putting me in a significantly stronger position to be accepted from the waitlist at several schools. Alex was insightful, well prepared, and as much an encouraging voice as he was teacher. Between individual sessions with Alex and the exceptional small group workshops, it is hard to imagine finding a better value. My only regret is that I didn’t find LSAT Nerd sooner.

-D.L., Spring 2020

I don’t think I would have made it through the LSAT and the application process without Jonathan! After self-studying for two months, I knew I needed to get some extra help with logical reasoning. Jonathan listened to what worked for me and what didn’t work when it came to studying. He helped me come up with strategies to keep me on track during practice and on test day. He forced me to work through questions (even when I didn’t have a clue how to answer them) and explain why answers were right or wrong. This practice strategy was a big part of my improvement!

Jonathan was also a really important part of my application process. He diligently helped me edit my personal statement, resume and other addendums. He also gave me advice on where to apply and what schools he thought would be a good fit for me.

Jonathan did all of this while being patient and encouraging every step of the way! He always took the time to meet with me or call me if I was struggling and never let me give up, even when I really wanted to. I really can’t thank him enough and wouldn’t have been able to make it through this process without his support!

-S.F., Spring 2020

The winter break before my senior spring semester of college I decided to take the LSAT in the following April (though eventually this date would get pushed back to June due to COVID-19). I started doing private tutoring sessions with Josh mid-February after becoming severely disappointed and frustrated with my university’s LSAT prep program offered at the student union center. Once I started working privately with Josh, it was a game changer, and I soon realized he was going to be my best bet at success on the LSAT. I had conveyed to Josh that Reading Comprehension was my weakest section, and Josh tried every imaginable strategy that he could conceive to ensure that I felt comfortable navigating that section- he even reached out to fellow tutors to inquire about strategies. (Believe me, I can’t even remember how many different reading comprehension strategies we tested). Josh truly tailors each session to your needs but only after doing a proper overview of each section, highlighting potential strategies that you can test out. Josh successfully creates a way to study for the LSAT in an almost formulaic fashion- proving effective for me as a student because it made the LSAT seem less abstract. I remember consistently doing sessions with Josh going over difficult Logical Reasoning questions and Logic Games setups to ensure that I would be comfortable when I encountered a difficult LR question or LG setup on the test. An LSAT tutor does not come in better form than Josh. Josh will not give up on you as his student. He will not let you feel defeated, and he will make sure that you understand an LSAT concept or the why for an answer to a question before moving on. This persistence was pivotal in my success on the LSAT, and I cannot thank Josh enough for the role he played in my LSAT journey.

-A.S., Spring 2020

I definitely had good news the other day! My score puts me right in the middle of the range for two of my schools and in the 80th percentile for one of of them!!! I want you to know that you helped me tremendously. I memorized the notes you gave me and listened to the audio recordings of our lessons over and over again on the way to work and on the way home. Until I had my sessions with you, I just wasn't improving...and I lacked so much understanding. Your method for Logical Reasoning was especially helpful. Later, there were times on practice tests where I would make a note, writing down or saying to myself "LSATNerd" or "Josh" (especially on assumption questions) and I could absolutely tell that I got the correct answer because of you! I would verify it after the test and sure enough, it was right. Other key points that you made (that helped me immensely) were: (1) don't try to answer LR with intelligence, but by breaking down each argument to an insane degree, (2) be a robot!!! (3) know how to attack each individual LR question depending on question type. In my studies previous to meeting you, I just didn't have a clue about that. (4) The conditional inferences for in/out games also proved invaluable. Memorizing those was an enormous benefit. Because of these things and more, I told people about you on Reddit!

-K.R., Spring 2020

With Josh’s techniques and hard work, my LSAT score jumped 5 points. I am now eligible to get into a long list of schools, including my top choice. Bottom line, Josh has a simple repeatable no nonsense approach to each section of the LSAT. I came to him initially for logic games, and I quickly realized his approach to logic reasoning made problems that I would have previously skipped, parallel reasoning, problems I could get correct in seconds. If you are willing to put in the work, Josh can help you on your path to success.

-K.H., Spring 2020

When I first decided to take the LSAT I signed up for a well known test taking class. I attended every session and completed all the homework/practice tests I was supposed to do. Long story short, I failed to achieve a score that reflected my test taking abilities. I then tried to self-study. I got the same result as when I was under tutelage. I almost gave up, I was only grabbing a single point each time I took the test. Yes, I am quite seasoned on the LSAT. However, I wasn't "well" seasoned. I was on my fourth try when a loving family member decided to look into other tutoring sources. She ultimately found the LSAT Nerd. I am so grateful that she did. After a quick phone call with Josh, I was onboard. The tutor assigned to me was Wade Formo, and I can't say enough great things about him. After a few sessions I could already tell that I was in good hands. Wade was able to pick up on my weaknesses and strengths from the beginning. This was a big deal for me, I felt like I was finally able to ask the questions I wanted and ultimately needed. Wade was always encouraging and patient, even when I wanted to rip my hair out. It was worth the sweat, tears, and several legal pads of notes and practice. I was determined to succeed and so was Wade. He was always willing to take a phone call or text if I had questions outside of our sessions. Throughout our weekly meetings he would send me lists of additional questions in areas that I needed improvement. I was also extremely impressed with the LSAT Nerd's willingness to use their extra free time to hold group sessions. It was beyond helpful to be able to work out problems with a group of people who were in the same boat. In the end, after my final test, my expectations were surpassed. I was able to raise my score by six points! I can say with the utmost confidence that Wade and the LSAT Nerd were paramount in my success. I 100% recommend this company and it's tutors. Thank you again Wade and the LSAT Nerd, you simply rock!

-K.E., Spring 2020

When I first reached out to LSAT Nerd I had a score of 161 and was in need of serious help. My tutoring sessions with Wade were not only critical to helping me raise my score by over 10 points to a final 173, but also helped me feel much more informed and confident about the LSAT itself. We also discussed law school admissions extensively and Wade’s insights as someone who had personally experienced it better prepared me for navigating the application process. I ended up being accepted to my dream law schools and will be attending a T-14 school this fall. (As of now I have been accepted to Michigan, Cornell, NYU, Georgetown, Penn, and Harvard (!) I am very grateful to Wade and LSAT Nerd for such a great experience!

-F.A., Fall 2019

Wade is the best tutor, plain and simple. His patience, knowledge, enthusiasm, and care are unrivaled in the LSAT prep industry. If you are serious about the LSAT, and willing to put the time in, Wade will be with you every step of the way. Without him, I would not have been able to make the climb from a 151 to a 163.

-T.S., Fall 2019

When I first took on the LSAT, I thought I could study for it like it was any other test. I walked away from that experience with a 150. It wasn't until I began to study with Wade, that the ins-and-outs of the LSAT began to become clear. Rather than blindly guessing my way through, I could understand the LSAT and all that it meant to write it. After working with Wade, my score increased eight points, and as a result, I got into my first choice for law school. My time with LSAT nerd was invaluable and an investment I would make again without hesitation

-N.H., Fall 2019

I had a great experience with Josh. We worked for about 3 months together to prep for my June LSAT twice a week. He really is great at explaining where you could go wrong and to steer you in the right direction. He tailors every session specific to my needs which was help on Logical Reasoning, taking what was the most difficult problems and showing me how to simplify it. It was a great pleasure working with him, he made studying so much easier. He also works well with scheduling. I went away to Ireland for a week and wanted to reschedule my sessions due to the 6 hour time difference a week before the LSAT and he was great enough to video chat with me at odd hours. Overall great guy with great strategies. He turned my starting practice score of 151 to a 171.

-A.D., Fall 2019

Josh is a fabulous tutor. His knowledge of the logic games is comprehensive, and his teaching methods are stress-free, but wildly effective. He was personable, kind, and extremely supportive. He honed my skills and taught me to trust my instincts, which was really the key to my success. He is the reason for my double-digit score improvement! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone taking the LSAT.

-J.O., Fall 2019

Josh was instrumental in getting me to the next level in LR and RC. These are two areas where I was scoring only between 15-17 per section. Test takers are typically told these areas show the least improvement and concentrate on logic games. This was not my experience with Josh. He has a system that is highly effective. By drilling with the aid of his easy to understand strategies and eventually internalizing the rules, I was able to quickly and conclusively determine when a choice was incorrect or not. Logic games may be the draw for future test-takers, but the instruction Josh provided in LR and RC not only allowed me to break into the 85th percentile, his instruction provided critical skills which will serve me well when I begin law school in the fall.

-M.Z., Fall 2019

The first time I took the LSAT, my score couldn’t have gotten me anywhere. It was when I found Josh and he taught me how to approach the LSAT with a different mindset that I got the score that I wanted. He was very patient with me and always made sure I understood a problem before moving on. I’m now heading to my dream school in the fall!

-S.I., Fall 2019

I found myself hitting a plateau and couldn't increase my score when I was self-studying for the LSAT. Wade taught me to trust my instincts, and to hone my natural abilities, which really helped improve my overall score. He is very supportive and patient, and I found his teaching skills to be really detailed, while also relatable. Every session was tailored to my specific needs and he always made sure I understood how each problem could be solved. He also made each session very enjoyable to learn! :) I highly recommend Wade to anyone really looking to getting a strong understanding of all 3 sections, and also gaining confidence in their skills.

-S.L., Fall 2019

I was hesitant at first to take online tutoring lessons to prepare for the LSAT, but after spending time with Josh, I realize that there is no better way to prepare. Josh's patience, intelligence, and genuine love for the law and those who want to study it make him such a great teacher. With his guidance, I was able to navigate the stressful LSAT environment by breaking down test questions into easy to solve reasoning formulas. I passed with a score of 162 which was well above my intended goal.

-J.M., Fall 2019

Wade is an amazing tutor. I took the LSAT 3 times. The first with a big company and the second by self studying. It wasn’t until I started working with Wade that I saw actual improvement in my LSAT score. Wade’s knowledge of each section and how to approach them aided tremendously in my score increase. By tackling a different section each lesson but still remembering the skills from the previous one, I was able to master strategies that facilitated the key to my success. His teaching methods are extremely effective and I’d recommend him to everyone planning to take the LSAT.

-T.H., Fall 2019

I took the LSAT 3 times. I self-studied the first-time and went with a big name company for the second time. My score remained the same the first two times, and I went to The LSAT Nerd for help with my third take. He was able to help me identify my weaknesses and help me understand where I was specifically going wrong in certain problems. I was able to increase my score 6 points and would highly recommend him!

-A.W., Fall 2019

I took my first LSAT and got a score of 146. I started working with Wade to help me raise that score into the 150s. Wade helped me learn the basics of the LSAT, how to manage my time during the test, and beat the tricks the LSAT tries to play on you. I got a 154 the next time around! Wade helped me increase my score by 8 points, which was huge. I now have ample opportunities for where I can go to law school, including a full scholarship offer! I couldn’t have gotten that score without his help!

-S.K., Fall 2019

There was a point during the tutoring when I was second guessing myself, going back and erasing the correct answer and choosing something different. You told me to trust myself, and to be confident in the skills that we developed. That was for the LSAT, but for me that was a life lesson (not to get too philosophical lol). Needless to say I have been accepted to all the schools I applied to with scholarships to all three. Seriously, Thank You.

-T.B., Fall 2019

Josh was able to work with me on a flexible schedule while providing a complete learning experience for my LSAT. While I was finishing my last semester in college, he took time to make sure I understood everything he put forward while making the sessions enjoyable and easily understandable. With his help I was able to gain almost 10 extra points on my LSAT and qualify for $27,000 on the law school of my choice.

-W.P., Fall 2019

I couldn’t be happier with Wade! After taking the LSAT in September 2019, I came to a conclusion that I needed a more in-depth, individual, and structured plan to prepare for the test. Signing up for tutoring classes with Wade was the best decision I could have made. From the very beginning, I realized that Wade has undoubtedly mastered the test. I am extremely grateful to Wade for teaching me new techniques and interesting strategies for attacking the problems in all the LSAT sections. By the end of the course, all the acquired strategies became second nature to me and the LSAT seemed like nothing more than the practice that we mastered during each session. Wade helped me to walk into the test day with the confidence that I understood the material and was ready to get my highest score. I highly recommend tutoring sessions with Wade to anyone who is ready to do his/her absolute best on the LSAT!!!

-O.M., Fall 2019

I had put in a year of work trying to achieve my goal score. After raising my own score by 12 points, I found myself short of my goal and backsliding weeks before my next LSAT. I reached out to The LSAT Nerd and was paired with Wade for a 1-hour subject-specific tutoring session. We worked through a strategy that I could practice a few times between that lesson and the exam. Come exam time I felt confident in the techniques that Wade and I worked on, and my score reflected it. I scored 5 points above my previous score on record and landed right on my goal score. I'm currently negotiating scholarships from 2 schools that will cover 90% of their respective tuition cost. Thanks, Wade!

-J.B., Fall 2019

I ended up with a 161! It feels great given that my hope had been a 160 when we first started and I really didn't think it would be possible. I really can't thank you enough for you assistance this fall, clearly you helped unlock an understanding and I'm very appreciative of that! Now I just have finish submitting my applications and then we'll see where I end up in the fall! Thank you again so much.

-C.W., Fall 2019

I am very grateful to LSAT Nerd, and Wade specifically, for supporting me with my LSAT preparation. With short notice, he was generous with his time, and I am happy with the support I received from him. Wade is well prepared, knowledgeable and organized. I have improved greatly from his help, which is evident from my 7-point scaled score increase to 163. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor.

Working with Josh was easy and great! Not only did I enjoy our sessions but he helped me improve my score 5 points from the September to December LSAT's!

-J.S., Spring 2019

When I first took the LSAT I second guessed myself, compounding mistakes. Wade tailored every session to my needs; clearly distilling the rules into recognizable patterns & pointing out traps. I returned confident in the work we put in and was rewarded with six more points. I would have been lost without Wade and his NBA hot takes. I can’t thank you enough!

Josh taught me the skills and shorthand necessary to master the Logic Games section of the LSAT. With this knowledge, I was able to raise my score 6 points!

Working with Josh changed the LSAT from a seemingly insurmountable challenge into a much more manageable task. Josh gives you the personal attention that you cannot receive from a generic LSAT class and works with you to ameliorate your weaknesses while also building upon your strengths. I'm so happy I turned to The LSAT Nerd for help and I'm sure that his future students will feel the same way.

Josh provided LSAT tutoring that was uniquely tailored to maximizing my strong areas and shoring up my weaknesses. He helped me to understand the intricacies, quirks and patterns of the test as well as the core concepts. He is personally invested in the success of each and every one of his students and it shows in his work. His individualized instruction far exceeded what I could have received from a generic test prep course, and helped me earn a scholarship to one of my to choice schools.

LSAT Nerd was really great. It helps to have this one-on-one attention to address specific questions. Wade was very patient with me as well as thorough regarding each topic. I recommend them without any reservations.

Hope this note finds you well.  Just wanted to write you real quick that my LSAT score came up 6 points from a 158 to a 164, which is great!  Thanks for all of your help and best of luck with the growing business!

Wade was a fantastic tutor. His teaching style was perfect for me because he provided new strategies on how to attack each section that I had not learned before. Because of this, I was able to raise my score and get into my dream law school. From someone who used the LSAT Nerd and some of the big-brand LSAT companies, I highly recommend The LSAT nerd (try to get Wade if you can).
